The movie starts with a college boy late to class at MIT. He's very skinny and very smart but then he bumps into an exchange student
Reed: Sorry, man. Just trying to get to class.
Victor: Don't worry about it. I'm Victor.
Reed: I'm Reed.
(The two become roommates and good friends with each other and that's when they see each other in the same classes together)
(Of course, we know who the Victor kid is going to become so he has to get expelled at some point, right? So one lab experiment blows up in Victor's face during an argument so he got expelled and that is the last you'll see of him for the rest of the movie)
Victor was indeed Dr. Doom but I'm saving him for the sequel.
(We meet Ben Grimm, Reed's new roommate and follow him through college where we see Susan Richards and Johnny Storm at Ben's football game)
It won't be dragged on like Fant4stic
After we show them meeting, we get a title sequence that sums up their origin with drawings from Alex Ross and is set to the theme song from the Marvel Animated Universe.
This is a reference to how the title sequence looks like
The title sequence ends with Reed and Sue getting married which is where we'd get a Stan Lee cameo
Stan Lee would be drawn there officiating the wedding of Reed and Sue which would be a nice tribute to him.
