Valencia's point of view:

I get out as they close the gate behind me.

I start to walk away from my old house. My heels clicking against the floor.

My heart beating slowing every step I take.

The faster I get from this place, the better.

It was a cold night and the sky was completely empty.

There was no moon, no starts, no clouds. Nothing.

The only source of light were the street lanterns that lit the little tiny piece of the sidewalk.

The lights of the stores were off and there was only a couple of windows that lit.

I could feel the gental blow of the wind on my skin, strong enough to slightly move my hair.

I make my way around the corner when I get pressed against the cold wall.

I remembered the old scent all to well, the scent that I haven't smelled in so long but I couldn't make myself remember who's exactly is it.

They slide their hand in my purse and grab the stack of money.

When I look up from my purse I met the cold eyes of Alessandro Smith.

'Stealing from your parents? Have they not thought you better?' His husky voice echoed trough the empty street.

His face was millimeters away from mine and at this point we breathed the same air.

His body was pressed against mine, radiating heat onto mine and no matter how guilty it made me feel I wanted to kiss him more then anything.

His eyes were filled with lust just as mine were.

I have not seen him since the night we had sex.

He used to be Ace's bestfriend.

That's the only thing I knew. I didn't know why they stopped being friends nor why did they become deadly enemies.

I didn't know his backstory and I certainly haven't heard much about his mafia.

I had to be very careful around him, still. I did kill his sister. And Ace had to have a good reason to have him called his enemy.

His lust quickly disappeared and he asked me something that shoke me back to the hurtful reality.

'How has been Ace?' His voice echoed through the empty street sending shivers down my spine. He had a malicious smile planted on his face as he stared deeply into my eyes.

A piece of my soul hurt when I heard his name.

I've tried a lot to forget about Ace in the past couple of days.

No matter the stress and work I had to deal with, my mind still found time for me to think about him.

Tears ran every night, thinking about him.

He took a piece of my soul. Shattered it.

I gave him everything. And he left.

Cold wind blew against my skin, lifting my hair gently.

'I don't know. We're not together anymore.' I say bluntly.

He raised his eyebrow and his eyes traveled down my body to my empty hand.

'Ahh. Thought it wouldn't last.' He said as his eyes made it's way back to mine.

'The better. Such a beautiful woman shouldn't be with a stupid man like him.' He said as he moved a hair from my face and tucked it behind my ear.
