After having the lunch with Mehra's , Kartik was driving off to his Restaurant, with Ritu on a call.
Kartik - Haan mummy
Ritu - Acha tu mil aaya na Rajshree ji se , tune puchi wo baat, engagement wali?
Kartik- Nahi mummy wo Ruchi thori tensed lag rahi thi , to maine avoid kar di wo conversation. Waise maine aunty ko kal breakfast ke liye invite kar liya hai, aap baat kar lena ..okay?
Ritu - thik hai fir tu ghar aaja, aaj Ahaan bhi kuch pareshaan sa lag raha -
Kartik- Mummy abhi to restaurant ja raha , kuch urgent kaam aa gaya hai .
Ritu- accha thik hai fir , jaldi aajana ..bye !
Kartik- byee!
He cut the call and was driving when something caught off his attention. A girl was standing in the middle of road , protecting a little child , with securely wrapping her hands around him. He could notice Vihaan's jeeb parked beside, and a few constables standing there handcuffing a man. Due to the crowd formed , her face wasn't clearly visible . The road was already jammed due to this . He stopped his car a little behind and came out , asking a man about the exact matter .
"Are bhaiya , ye south Delhi me kuch nawabzade hote hai jo aankh band karke gadiyaan chalate hai , wo to accha hua is larki ne ain waqt pe us bacche ko bacha liya , warna abhi accident ho jata uska. Police to ek call pe aa gayi..lagta hai kisi bade ghar ki larki hai!" The man said pointing towards the girl . Kartik tried a little to enter the crowd , when he noticed that the girl was Ruby. He quickly marched in and asked Vihaan about the matter .
Kartik - Ruby , tum yaha..kaise..matlab !
Ruby- Kartik ji ek minute , Vihaan ,aapne complaint likh li hai na, please is larke ko yaha se leke jaiye ..I don't know that how come they have got the driving lisense !
Vihaan- Ruby calm down ..Karik..please tum Ruby ko uske ghar tk drop kar do, uski gadi kharab ho gayi hai .
Kartik- Ohkay..come Ruby ..main drop kar deta hun!
Ruby left the place in anger and settled herself in the passenger's seat , but before leaving she handed 2000 bucks to the child who was to meet with the accident. Kartik hurried behind her and started driving towards her home. She was constantly looking out of the window , while Kartik was stealing glances of her
Kartik's POV
Ruby ne sach me us larke ki help ki?! like seriously , iski personality waisi nahi hai, wo logon ko help karne wali larkiyon types . Puch lun kya? rehne deta hu..abhi gusse me lag rahi !
"I know aap ye soch rahe ki maine help kyu ki, meri personality waisi bilkul nahi hai shayad!"she turned towards him with a forbidden smile on her face . "Umm..actually yes..wo tum lagti nahi ho waisi-"
"waisi kaisi?"
"Are wo hoti hain na..logon ke selfless reasons se help karne wali larkiyaan..waisi..jaisi Ishqi hai- exactly like her "
"Mujhe dusron jaisa hone me koi interest nahi hai...rahi baat help karne ki...maa ne sikhaya tha..kisi ki jaan ki keemat kabhi paison se nahi measure ki ja sakti- har jaan precious hoti hai"
"Woah ! that was something touching - tum itni intense baatein bhi karti ho ?"
"Kyu nahi kar skti?"
"Nahi matlab wo tum ginni aunty ki niece ho na..isiliye thora shocking hai..and yes, actually ..I am sorry wo marriage proposal ke liye-"
"It's okay! waise bhi wo rishte jo sirf zimmedari se bandhe gaye ho - unka koi wajood nahi hota! and I am actually happy for you ..I mean Ruchita is a nice girl and you both look cute together !"
"Thanks...and I am sure tumhe bhi koi accha life partner bohot jald mil jayega ! by the way..uncle aunty India aa gaye?"
