The 4 friends had just finished surfing and stepped out of the ocean.

"Best day ever!" Brady shouts

Mack giggles slightly.

"Yeah it was pretty awesome, huh?" Violet chimes in.

"Awesome? Surfing all day, the 4 of us together." Brady says

"Awesome wishes it was this awesome." Jonathan laughs.

They walk back to Mack's grandpas surf shop, talking the whole way.

When they walk inside, Violet and Brady nearly yell.

"W-w-wait. Hear that?" Brady says

"No way!" Violet shouts

"Hey!" They say together.

"Hey what's up?" Mack's grandfather says

"I can't believe you're watching this without us!" Brady yells

"Now that you're here, I'm not."

"Please tell me this isn't..." Mack starts the question she'll soon come to regret.

"WET SIDE STORY!" Violet and Brady shout together.

Jonathan and Mack just look at each other for a second.

"Yeah that." Jonathan laughs.

"Ah, 1962, surfers, bikers-" Brady starts

"Best movie ever made." Violet finishes the sentence for him.

"How can you three like this silliness? Especially you grandpa!" Mack says

"Silliness? Mack, my dear, this movie defined an entire culture." Her grandpa says

"Exactly." Brady adds

"Yeah." Violet agrees

"A surfer guy and his little sister, fall in love with a biker girl and her older brother and share a secret love, all while trying to unite rival gangs." Brady says

"As an evil real estate mogul tries to turn their hangout into a resort by building a weather machine which blows up, creating a massive storm." Violet adds

"Silliness? Really?" They say in unison

"Well can we watch it later, because I really need to talk to you. All of you." She says glaring at Violet and Brady.

"Just watch my favorite part when the leads' eyes meet and their pulled apart by rivaling gangs."

"I'm not the kind to fall for a guy, who flashes a smile." Says a biker girl on the screen.

"it goes on for miles." The background singers say.

"Don't usually swoon, but I'm over the moon." A blonde surfer sings

"He was just too cool for school." The background singers add.

"And now I'm falling for ya." The surfer and biker say at the same time as they both fall off the stage into someone's arms.

They look to see who caught them and lock eyes with their savior.

"Nice of you to drop in." The male surfer who caught the biker can be heard saying

"Guess i literally fell for ya, huh?" The female surfer says to the biker whose holding her.

"Guess so." The biker chuckles back to her.

"Hey! Get your rodent fingers off Tanners baby sister!" A surfer can be heard yelling.

The biker gently sets the girl down, "Get his salty surfer mitts off mine!" The biker says back.

Mack rolls her eyes.

"Come on. They sing for no reason, they come out of the water and their hair is totally dry, the girls never surf as well as the boys, and they sing for no reason. I had to mention that one again, because even a second time, I don't get why." She says

"But it's always summer, and everyone just sings and surfs!" Brady tells her

"But really the surfing looks fake. They'd drown on a real wave. Seriously, they sing in the ocean, and never spit out water." Jonathan adds.

The door opens and a woman walks in.

"Surprise! Well, aren't you gonna give your aunt Antoinette a hug? Well, you are so... grown up. You look absolutely- unacceptable!"

"What?" Mack says

"Not you, dear." The woman says, pointing at her ear to show the earpiece, "Tell him the offer is unacceptable. It's good to see you, McKenzie."

Mack grimaces at the use of her full name.

"What are you doing here? I thought you were coming tomorrow." Mack says

"Well you thought wrong. We are leaving tomorrow. I hope you've packed."

"Mack, what does she mean by leaving tomorrow?" Brady asks

"Uh, this is Brady. That's Violet, and that's Jonathan." Mack smiles, clearing up any confusion.

"I am McKenzies aunt. I'm sure she's told you all about me."

"Mack, what does she mean by leaving tomorrow?" This time Jonathan asks

"Antoinette, welcome home." Mack's grandfather smiles

"Oh, hello, father." She says

"You know it's always good to have... Have you back." He says

"I see you're still making surfboards. Oh, don't tell me you still have that?" Antoinette says, pointing at a yellow and red surfboard hanging on the wall with a red flower on it.

"Still have it? We all grew up with legends about this board. It's part of the family." Mack chimes in.

"Me, your grandfather, and his father, we each found our destiny on it." Mack's grandpa says

"There is only one way to 'find' your destiny, McKenzie. And that is to work hard for it."

"Okay, alright. Mack, what does she mean by leaving tomorrow?" Violet asks

"As of tomorrow, my niece will be attending the exclusive, overpriced, and did I mention exclusive, Dunwich Prepatory Academy." Antoinette beams

"What?" The other 3 kids say in unison, Wet Side Story still playing in the background.

"Back east." Antoinette says

"Uh, Antoinette, we should talk about this, please." Mack's grandfather says.

"There is nothing to talk about. This has always been the deal. Isn't that right, McKenzie?"

The conversation continues on for several more minutes before Antoinette leaves.

"What's up?" Brady says

"How did you know I was going to be here?"

"We knew you couldn't stay away from a surf like this." Violet laughs

"You guys, I'm glad you came.... But I told you..."

"I just came to watch you surf, not to propose." Brady chuckles. The comment earns a laugh from the other couple.

When the lifeguard blows this whistle and signals everyone in. Mack doesn't come.

The three teens jump onto a jet ski and dive in the water after her.

"You okay?" Brady asks.

"What are you doing here?" Mack says

"Okay, what happened to the storm?" Violet asks as the 4 swim to the unfamiliar shore.
