Mizuki's pov
"Touya!" I ran towards him. Touya looked up at me and smiled and waved hello. "Hi Mizuki-kun" I gasped. "Touya, what happened to your face?" Touya's face was bruised and had a plaster on it. "Ah... it's nothing." "But touya, you got hurt! How is that fine?" I puffed up my cheeks in annoyance. "... Some boys were bullying Shoto." I gasped. "Sho-kun! Is he okay then?" Touya nodded, and I sighed in relief. "Well, I'm glad you and Sho-kun are okay." I gently touched a bruise on his cheek. Suddenly, the bruise burst into flames. "Wha- Touya!!" He looked up at me with dull eyes and burnt skin. I screamed. "You didn't save me.... How could you? I thought we were best friends...." He whispered. I shook my head frantically. "No...no! Touya that's not true! I didn't save you because I couldn't!" "How could you....." I was engulfed in shadows....
"UWAHHHHHHHH!!!!" I suddenly woke up, screaming and flailing. Dabi immediately burst into my room, blue flames in his hand. I screamed at the sight of it. I could still smell the smoke of the fire Touya died in. Dabi, seeing my reaction to his fire, quickly put it out and strode to me. He put his hands on my cheeks, calming me down. I took a deep shuddering breath and tried to smile at him. "I'm fine... It was just a nightmare." I wasn't sure if I was trying to reassure myself or Dabi. Dabi hesitated abit before asking, "Do you want me to stay the night?" I contemplated, before nodding my head. We silently got into the sheets and lay side by side. Suddenly, Dabi pulled my close by my waist and put his chin on my shoulder. I felt myself heating up at his touch. "Wh..what are y-" "Shh...." Dabi cut me off before taking a deep breath. "You smell like... strawberries and cigarettes..." But... I dont smoke? I thought, really confused. But I lay still, in his warmth, which relaxed me.

Remember when we first met?
You said "light my cigarette"
So I lied to my mom and dad.
I jumped the fence and I ran.
But we couldn't go very far,
'Cause you locked your keys in your car
So you sat and stared at my lips
And I could already feel your kiss
Long nights, daydreams
Sugar and smoke rings, I've been a fool
But strawberries and cigarettes always taste like you
Headlights, on me
Racing to 60, I've been a fool
But strawberries and cigarettes always taste like
Blue eyes, black jeans
Lighters and candy, I've been a fool
But strawberries and cigarettes always taste like you
Remember when you taught me fate
Said it'd all be worth the wait
Like that night in the back of the cab
When your fingers walked in my hand
Next day, nothin' on my phone
But I can still smell you on my clothes
Always hoping things would change
But we went right back to your games
Long nights, daydreams
Sugar and smoke rings, I've been a fool
But strawberries and cigarettes always taste like you
Headlights, on me
Racing to 60, I've been a fool
But strawberries and cigarettes always taste like
Blue eyes, black jeans
Lighters and candy, I've been a fool
But strawberries and cigarettes always taste like you
And even if I run away
Give my heart a holiday
Still strawberries and cigarettes always taste like you
You always leave me wanting more
I can't shake my hunger for
Strawberries and cigarettes always taste like you
Yeah, they always taste like you
You
Long nights, daydreams
With that sugar and smoke rings
Always taste like you
Headlights, on me (and even if I run away)
Racing to 60, I've been a fool (and give my heart a holiday)
Still, strawberries and cigarettes always taste like
Blue eyes, black jeans (you always leave me wanting more)
Lighters and candy, I've been a fool (I can't shake my hunger for)
Strawberries and cigarettes always taste like you.

I felt my eyelids flutter shut, finally falling asleep.
Well that was romantic. ~author 🍙🍙🍙
