Imagine: being on a video call with Jack your boyfriend of four months. You didn't feel like yourself and didn't want to complain or bother him about it but he kept complimenting you, something you didn't like to hear when you felt like this.
"Jack, not now." You told him.
"What? I am just telling you that you look cute." He laughed.
"I am not.. not now, not ever."
Jack didn't like hearing you talk about yourself like this. He found ways to make you smile but he needed new ways to do it. He smiled to himself when he got an idea. About ten minutes later he came back and showed up on your screen with a serious face. Squinting his eyes a tiny bit before pulling out a camera and taking a picture. A picture of you. He looked down at the results and couldn't stop smiling.
"This is what I love." He smiled.
You hadn't noticed what he had done and looked at the screen. "What?" You asked and he looked up back at you.
Jack showed you the picture and you smiled a little before you realised what he had just said. "Wait.. did you just say.."
"Of course I did." Jack cut you off. "I always have and always will love you y/n. You are cute, pretty, handsome and all that but it's your soul that makes you shine of an incredible beauty that is unknown to mankind, and I am lucky enough to have that all to myself..."
You smiled at his words and wasn't really sure what to say next. Jack's words meant a lot to you and you knew being with him was the kind of love you deserved to get.
