Chapter 11! A Lesson on the Basics

I felt myself trapped in a abyssal darkness, without knowing where I am or why I'm here. But then I opened my eyes, turns out I passed out.

"Uhhh my head..."

I irked as I rose up from the ground. I looked down to see myself sitting on the hundred pieces of paper. I'm still in Hayai's room. Why? What happened?

"Guys, where are you?"

My vision was blurry. How long have I been out? It couldn't have been for too long.

"Hey."

A voice called out to me. I looked over, my vision repaired enough to see who it was. It was Hayai! He was sitting over the unconscious  body of Einar. But Einar wasn't the only one. Near him was Dealla and Cyrus, both of them in the same state.

"Wha...what happened?"

I asked as I stood up; my balance was weak. I was lucky to stand up on my first try, but I still felt my legs were ready to break.

"I did hurt you on the head a little bit too hard. Long story short, you lost. Quite quickly actually. Once I knew the threat Cyrus possessed, I couldn't risk it and so knocked you all down."

Hayai explained as he poked Einar's face, receiving no reaction, not even a twitch.

Now that he explained it, I can feel myself remembering...

[TEN MINUTES AGO]

Hayai stood at one side of the room, half of his white clothes burned thanks to Cyrus' dangerous flames.

"I guess you were afraid for a valid reason."

Hayai said as he inspected his burnt outfit.

All four of us were mentally exhausted. Even with Cyrus' unstable magic, it wasn't enough to take down Hayai.

"How dare you...RUIN MY PURE WHITE OUTFIT!"

Hayai suddenly changed his attitude. Changing from a cold calm man was a man filled with inhumane rage.

"Einar stay ba-"

Before I could finish my sentence, Hayai was already in front of me. Both Einar and Dealla tried running over to me to help, but it was too late. Hayai's hand covered my entire face as I felt my entire body being pushed to the ground. Everything else was black, the only thing I can feel was the sound of screams, a mixture of Hayai screaming in rage as Dealla and Einar defended themselves to the end.

[PRESENT]

That damn liar! He didn't knock us out because of Cyrus, he knocked us out because his outfit got burned!

I heard the sound of the door opening. It immediately caught my attention. The door would open to reveal Kasaki and Tenzei being the ones at the other side.

"Kasaki! Tenzei! What was point of this?"

I yelled at him. I thought our fight yesterday proved how capable we were. Didn't he not trust us?

"I'll explain. But first, Tenzei."

Kasaki calmly commanded as he motioned his hand towards my unconscious siblings. Tenzei kept up his creepy smile as he ran over to my siblings.

"Got it!~ Tenzei Secret Technique: Wake The Fuck Up!"

Tenzei then softly stabbed some sort of needle on their necks. All three of my siblings had their eyes shot open! They immediately woke up? What kind of technique was that? Better yet what kind of name was that?!
