Y/N's POV:
throughout the entire talking with Mirabel and Camilo, I got bored because Camilo kept on talking about his handsome self.
"Camilo, you are not handsome. I say a frog is way better than you."
Camilo gasped surprisingly.
"Oh, you think a frog is way handsomer than me? Then why is Y/n dating me? Why are all the girls obsessed with me?"
Mirabel and Camilo kept on arguing and I was annoyed.
"CAN YOU GUYS SHUT UP!?!?!"
They both stopped arguing and looked at me.
"Camilo, no one cares how handsome you are and I'm not dating you because you're handsome, I'm dating you because you're my funny chameleon."
Camilo shrugged like it didn't bother him.
"Mirabel, I'm not gonna lie to you but Camilo is actually way much better than a frog."
"How?"
I stared at Mirabel with a serious look.
"Ugh, fine."
Abuela Alma walked in the room.
"Camilo, we have some new guests and I want you to help them with getting some furniture and stuff into the house. It's the Gomez Family."
"Okay."
Abuela Alma left the room.
"I'll be right back, okay?"
He kissed me on the cheek and left.
Mirabel rolled her eyes and continued talking to me.
Camilo's POV:
I went down to the Gomez's and saw them. I walked up to the family and said hello.
I started to help them with the stuff and suddenly Y/n came towards me.
"Can I help?"
"Why?"
"Because I want to help."
I sighed.
"Fine."
This one girl came up to me and Y/n and I could tell that she was very nice.
"Hi, I'm Google!"
-Nah, just kidding XD
"Hi, I'm Sophia."
"Hi, I'm Camilo and this is my novia, Y/n."
- Novia (Girlfriend)
"Oh, you two look like a good couple and I think Y/n is very pretty."
(To give you a hint, she will be the fake friend throughout the story meaning she will try to take Camilo away from you and she will actually hate you throughout the entire story, so here's the other antagonist or should I say traitor, anyways there's the update about what's going to happen. Think you should trust her? Don't. Anyways back to the story)
"Oh, thanks....I guess?"
"Cami, I don't trust her."
"What do you mean she looks nice."
"Yeah, but the way she called me pretty was kinda suspicious."
"You barely trust any type of girl when I talk to them."
"Because I-I don't wanna lose you. I-"
I kissed Y/n softly and then pulled away and we put our foreheads together.
"I love you and only you, amor. No one else."
We then went back to helping. Y/n still didn't trust her, but the reason why I fell in love with her was because she was the most distrustful person in the whole village.
Sophia's POV:
'Ugh that girl. Maybe I can find someway to get closer with Camilo without Y/n knowing and her heart will be broken and they start to fight and Camilo then leaves her. I mean her mom will soon marry my dad and it's funny how she didn't know about that. The surprise will come to her soon.'
Y/n's POV:
I didn't trust Sophia at all. She clearly said I looked pretty, but it didn't sound like she actually meant it. When me and Camilo were done, we left the Gomez's house.
"Are you okay, amor?"
"I know you told me one of the reason's why you love me was because I was the most distrustful person in the village, well guess what? I don't trust Sophia at all. I feel like she's trying to take you away from me and if Bruno was here I would ask him to do a vision of Sophia's plan-"
"Please don't talk about Bruno."
"Look Cami, I need to know her plan. She's clearly up to something."
"Or you just have trust issues from her."
I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms.
"Y/n, are you jealous? It's okay to admit that you are."
"I'm going home. Bye Cami, love you."
I kissed him on the cheek and headed home.
My mom was in the kitchen and saw me entering the house.
"Y/n? Where were you?"
"With Camilo, why?"
"You weren't with Milo?"
"Mom, I don't like him. I'm dating Camilo, Okay?"
"Oh really? Well as you can see Mr.Gomez and I are getting married next week and he told me you've already met his family, including Sophia. I'm pretty sure you and Sophia will get along great as sisters."
My heart broke after hearing that. My mom lied to me once before about having a new husband to replace dad, but I didn't believe her. I thought she stopped with all the bullshit she put in my head, but it turns out she didn't.
"Oh and, you and Milo will be getting married when you both turn 16."
WHAT!?!?! 16!?!?! I was not ready to get married at 16. I was planing on getting married at the age of 20 not 16.
"But mama, I'm not ready to get married at the age of 16. I'm not- I can't- I'm not ready."
I ran upstairs to my room and closed the door and locked it. I cried and the pain was even worse.
