"Come on stinka" I called out to Kani
"Ma" he laughed running out the front door
"Ow" I heard him crying as my back was turned locking the door
I quickly turned around seeing Nardo picking him up
"Im sorry" Nardo picked him up wiping his tears
"Why you here" I mugged him going to grab Kani making him move away
"Let's talk" he said rubbing Kani back
"Nah I gotta get Kani to daycare and go to work" I told him reaching for Sekani again
"You can be late you the boss remember" he chuckled snatching my keys out my hand opening the front door
"You ok Kani" I asked him and he nodded laying his head on Nardo shoulder
"Look I really gotta go" I mugged him
"Ight sit down" he told me as he sat on the couch
"Horace" I spoke
"Soriya" he said back
I sucked my teeth sitting on the couch looking in his face
"What you need from me" I questioned
"Why you embarrass my girl on the gram like that" he asked and I chuckled
"She wasn't bout to have me out here looking like a liar when we both know the truth" I sat back
"You waited two years to do all this tho" he mugged me
"I didn't wait anything I wasn't gone say nothing at all she got on the gram starting with me I've been chilling Nardo minding my business" I told him
"Man whatever" he waved me off he looked down at Kani and slightly smiled
"What's his name" he asked
"Sekani Bernard Smith" I huffed
"You gave him my middle name" he chuckled
"At the time I was being young and dumb and thought you were gonna eventually come around" I shrugged looking at the time
"Ight I really gotta go" I said
"Lemme keep him for the day" he spoke up
"Nah you good" I laughed
"Please Soriya Lemme do better he deserves to know me" he said and I sucked my teeth
