Avengers//One shot story

After the Battle

     Everyone looked around stunned, amazed, relieved that the battle was over. Peter, Pepper and Strange ran over to where Tony was lying. Dr. Strange started to do some orange, sparkly magic stuff while everyone came to watch.

"Hey, Tony I might not be able to save you".

"Mmm, that's alright, did we win?"

"Yes Mr. Stark. Yes we did"

Everyone held their breath as Strange worked.

     Finally after a long while of magic Tony was doing better and only his arm was blackened. He was wearing a cast on his arm and he looked pretty tired. Peter was trying to support Tony. Everyone started to head out of the battle field.

"Where do we go?" asked Scott "The tower is destroyed, most of us don't have homes and the world has practically gone crazy" 

"Oh my god" realized Peter "My aunt May must be so worried"

"Don't worry kid" said Tony "She knew you were Spider Man and she knows that even if you didn't go to space you still would have disappeared"

 "Oh thank you Mr. Stark" 

Tony was too tired to say anything about the whole Mr. Stark thing, and that was saying a lot.

     It was then decided that they would split and go to different places. Pepper would go to her and Tony's house, where Morgan was. Tony would go with Peter to his Aunt May's house. They didn't want Morgan to see her Dad like that. Wanda decided to go with Peter as well, after some debating.

     Scott and Hope would go to their house with Cassie. Clint would go home to his family. The rest of them would go to Wakanda through Dr. Strange's portals. Dr. Strange himself decided to go back to Wong.

     They all decided that celebrating and mourning would have to wait until they were all healthy and well rested. Everyone tromped home or their temporary homes. Some fixed injuries while others ate. Others decided to sleep and some had important reunions to have happen.

     Take Peter for example, he got to see aunt May after five years. Along with Ned and MJ. When he got home there were lots of hugs and greetings exchanged. Though MJ only said "Hey Loser"  she was actually glad to see him.

     Clint reunited with his family and after his whole vengeance thing, it was one of the best reunions of them all. His wife was the only one who knew about the Ronin, he didn't want his kids to know about it.

     Even though Scott had seen Cassie a while before the final battle, the reunion with him, Hope, Cassie, Hank and Janet was a sweet reunion that mostly included Hope and Cassie and Scott and Hope.

     T'Challa reunited with Shuri and was surprised to see her all grown up. But nonetheless they had a happy reunion with their mother. The whole of Wakanda was happy to see their king back. But they couldn't lie, Shuri did make a good queen.

     The rest of the world felt at ease knowing that Thanos was gone and their loved ones were back. Most of the heroes felt good as well, but they also felt lots of grief and sadness knowing that some of them would never be coming back.

     Steve felt some of the most grief. He felt as if he had let his team down. Him and Natasha had gotten pretty close during the period of five years and started falling for each other. Steve never did get to tell her how he felt and never wanted her to die before he could.

     Wanda had always seen Vision as an older brother. And losing both of her brothers put her in another big stage of grief. She had blipped so she never really got to mourn over Vision but because of that the grief was still fresh.
