After our long day of adventures we went back home. We ended up in my bed again cuddling and I took a picture of us. I sent it to Tubbo and waited for his response. It didn't take long.

After that I put my phone down and buried my face into Ranboo's chest. He chuckled towards what I did and rubbed my back gently.

"You're so cute.." Ranboo cooed.

I giggled before looking up at him. I moved some hair away from his face so I could see his eyes and smiled. He was so amazing, he reminded me everyday why I was still on this planet. It was because of him. Without him I'm not sure if I'd be where I am now. He has helped me with my anxiety so much.

"Your amazing boo." I say to him while taking in his warmth.

"So are you handsome.." he said before yawning.

I grinned warmly before putting the blankets over us both and preparing to sleep. But suddenly my bedroom door opened and I expected to see my father. Instead it was my mother. She didn't know we were dating..

Ranboo and I sat up immediately and gave nervous smiles towards her. She scowled a bit before forcing me to stand up and grabbed my shirt collar.

"What the hell is this?! Are you dating this weirdo?!" She hissed and gestured towards Ranboo.

I gasped before pushing her away and Ranboo frowned.

"Don't call him a weirdo! He's so kind and sweet! Yes I'm dating him! Is that a fucking problem?" I say and glared at her.

"I can call him whatever I want! And who allowed you to even date him?! You aren't good enough! He's probably lying to you! And yes it's a fucking problem!" My mother screamed back and I flinched.

Ranboo noticed my slight fear and stood up. His tall form went in front of mine protectively and I froze.

"Leave him alone Mrs. He's more than good enough for me. He makes me happy and he's absolutely amazing. So please, calm down and leave him alone. He doesn't deserve this kind of treatment from his mother." Ranboo sternly said to her and I was surprised.

He was protecting me...

"Raiden! You don't need this prick to stand up for you do you?! He's pathetic! He's lying to you like I've already said!" My mother yelled back.

I began to cry a bit and Ranboo realized it immediately. He bent down to my height and gave me a kiss before turning back to my mother.

"Mrs. I said to leave him alone." Ranboo hissed with anger dripping from his words.

My mother was surprised by his tone. But eventually she huffed and left the room stomping away.

When she was gone I quickly hugged Ranboo as tight as I could. I felt him wrap his arms around me and I sobbed.

"T-thank you for protecting me Mark I.... That means so much to me.." I say emotionally whilst feeling Ranboo rub my back.

"Hey hey no problem handsome... I'd do anything for you..." he said and kissed the top of my head.

After a few minutes we laid back down in bed and I wiped my tears away. Ranboo watched me calm down and gave me reassuring smiles to help out. Eventually I was able to regather myself completely and then I cuddled close to my boyfriend.

"T-thank you..." I say again to him.

"No problem... I want you to be safe.." Ranboo said.
