I miss them so much. I just had to write something about them. 🥺. Past Eli and Odell!! Past Johnny Manziel and Baker!! just for reasons....

Odell should have expected the latter right?

That anything in this Godforsaken world is possible of happening especially something that Odell was trying to rid his brain of.

Shouldn't he have excepted to see him? Yes? Not really.

It didn't happen the way Odell thought it would happen. Not that he thought it. It was more like a nightmare he would wake up from.

Easy.

Happens at a airport.

Odell and the browns was traveling back to Cleveland from Houston.

Simple.

That was until he heard freaking Stefanski say his name.

"Eli?"

"Kevin that you?"

It was a simple banter.

A banter that made Odell make eye contact with Eli Manning.

A conversation that made Odell ignore the eyes of Jarvis Landry on him as he darted straight to the airplane bathrooms.

Baker watched as Odell ran towards the bathroom with his brows furrowed.

He stood up making his way to the bathrooms until Jarvis stopped him.

"I wouldn't go if I was you." Jarvis said from his seat.

Baker stood still as he bit his lip looking at the bathroom door.

"I know Odell. He'll need some time for right know. If you know what made him go in there. You won't push his buttons." Jarvis said in a soothing tone.

Baker sighed as he looked back over to Eli and Kevin still chatting.

Baker took a seat beside Landry his eyes still lingering on the bathrooms.

"I know you wanna help him but he's gotta get used to you. Your different for him right know. He's only got to play with one other quarterback and we both know who that is." Jarvis said darting his own gaze to Eli for a split second.

"I wanna be someone that he can talk to tho. Someone he can confide in. When it comes to him." Baker said barely above a whisper. Jarvis chuckled.

"I know you know what happened between them but you don't know what he went through. He'll tell you the story if he thinks he can trust you."

Baker turned towards Jarvis with a twinkle of hope in his eye.

"Did he do the same for you?" Baker asked and Jarvis patted his leg.

"Trust me."

The plane ride home was even harder for Odell it seemed like.

Eli wasn't on the plane with them. Didn't offer to travel with them.

He was still on Odell's mind though.

Odell was currently looking out the airplane window not really know what he was studying since it was complete darkness.
