(KP) ENA x Reader One-Shots

Comforting

(This is before you started dating ENA)

Lately, everythings seemed just... upsetting. Stuff is bland, and you can't seem to gain any motivation other than mope around at home. Ena would invite you out daily and check in on you via text but you didn't have enough energy to respond. She noticably got more worried and today, while you're just lying on your couch, you hear a knock on your door. You ignore it, thinking it's some weird salesman or something. The knocking grows more frequent and you hear a familiar slight quiet sobbing and whining coming from outside the door.

'It's ena? ...what would she want from someone like me...?' Y/n thought, pulling theirself off the couch. Walking to the door, checking the peep hole and confirming it was indeed their friend Ena, Y/n opened the door slowly. Ena lunges in hugging y/n, crying as she clings to them. "I thowt you were deeadd...! Why downt you respawnd to meee!" Ena babbles in sadness and relief. Y/n hugs her back, picking her back up a bit, straightening her posture. "Ena, I'm so sorry I-I didn't mean to worry you- Why don't you come in with me, here" Y/n quickly says to de-escalate Ena's panic, holding her and walking her to their couch.
Sitting down Ena crys a bit more for a second before calming down, switching back to yellow. "...M-My apologies y/n, I don't know what came over me, thank you for comforting me however! I-I just was worried you had uhm... that something bad happened to you due to you not responding to my texts or calls." Ena said.
"Oh, I'm sorry for not responding, I keep forgetting to, I'm glad you came by though, I did miss you." Y/n says with a somber smile.

"Y/n, I've... noticed that you have been seemingly... down lately. Or just simply acting different, less energetic and happy, along with not going out with me much anymore... Has everything been okay, dear friend?" Ena asks with concern in her voice, sitting a bit closer and taking y/n's hand into hers. Y/n sits in silence, looking away from Ena. "...It's okay if you do not wish to talk about it right now, but I want you to know y/n, that you mean alot to me and I care immensely about you. I've just missed you and I just want you to know that you can talk to me, okay...?"

Y/n looks back at ena, tears in their eyes before ena opens her arms to Y/n and they lunge into a hug, leaning back on the couch together. Y/n cries in her embrace as she strokes your back and head, holding Y/n close. Exhausted and relaxed from ena's warm embrace, y/n starts to feel sleepy and close their eyes, drifting off. Before they fall asleep, they hear Ena softly whisper "Rest well Y/n" and a soft kiss on the head.
