I am a gone girl! I really really like Nnedi's writing and the way her genre depicts the West African culture that so many Africans like me find are hard to decipher. Jujuism has and is always a bleak subject where no one fully explains and is willing to divulge some secrets but, alas! Nnedi has no CAP! she goes all in and explains it as is. I love her for it.

Afro-futurism and Jujuism is a genre which I have fallen in love with and I love to read about. I have always said that as Africans, If we have one person to explain juju technology we would be billionaires and these African authors are doing their bits towards that.

Who fears death was exquisitely written and clear to understand to anyone without vague scripts that are not easily understandable. The book itself is an easy read and the author allows you to feel the characters emotion, feelings and thoughts. I loved how she clearly starts to explain Onyesonwu's journey from the onset and how its transcended everyday. She learnt juju and how to control it.

The book has valuable lessons on apprenticeship and how to navigate life with your mentors and or mentees in real life. I picked up a few things from Nnedi's writing. I loved the book and her writing to score it a 9/10. I would recommend it and worth your bibliophilic time.
