Percy's pov.

Bruce woke up and took a shower after Apollo left I sat in the coach as the prophecy replayed in my head

So Bruce is part of this

And maybe his team

Mortals are involved ,this is new I mean Rachel was ok but a whole team of grown ups working or the agency this is bad

What am I going to tell camp

I heard Bruce walk out he threw on the extra shoes I brought him and smiled at me

"Hay....." he said weakly I nodded and stood
"Lets go get something to eat I'm starving" I sighed and headed to the door I stopped and turned to Bruce

He was fidgety "we could go by your house to get some clothes" he nodded

"Sounds fine..... destroying a lot of things takes a number on you and your clothes" I smirked and he followed me out the door

We went to his apartment in a taxi and then dropped of at a small restaurant

We finally sat down and he sighed in relief

"God it's so good to sit down" I nodded and played with my straw
"Man I think I need a break from work...."

He glanced up at me "any ideas?" He asked with a hint of curiosity
I smiled fondly

"A nice weakened at Long Island beach with my girlfriend and friends would be nice, maybe even some time alone without people dieing would be nice" I sighed Bruce raised his eye browns and looked down at his menu

"Death?" he asked I looked away from him

"We're you in a war or something?" he asked I shrugged "yeah I guess you could say that, what about you what's a good time for you" he smiled and scanned over his menu before setting it down

"Maybe a calm rainy day in my lab with some books ,stress free" he chuckled I shook my head

"No such thing as a stress free environments" I muttered and he nodded

I saw a small movement behind him

I looked and saw three men sitting in the booth behind him

A flash of silver caught my eye I saw a gun around his waist

I turned to my left and saw that almost all the tables and booths were occupied

"Oh no...." I muttered and looked down at my lap

"What's wrong?" I looked at him and looked at the waiter behind the counter

She looked at me and saw me staring and ran behind the counter and into the kitchen

"We have a few friends watching us" I whispered to him , he scanned the room and saw why I was talking about

"What should we do?" he whispered back

I looked around

"Lets go to the bathroom...." I said
