Ever since she was a child, she got bullied along with her brother, Tanjiro Kamado, because of their unique appearence. Every time some kid wanted to be her friend, they stabbed her in the back. She and her brother started developing attachment and trust issues. I think the description is kinda obvious but let me ✨explain✨
SO, the Kocho sisters adopted her when they found her alone in a street, lost, and desperate for help...it seemed that Kanao's parent had abandoned her. So of course they adopted her. They teached her all kinds of things. Including how to make and use poison/dr#gs...she got so obsessed over all those kinds of things she started kidnapping people and using them to test her drugs. The police later found out about it and took her to the asylum.
(Aoi also helped Kanao.)

Shinobu Kocho
°Obsession with poison, wisteria, her family, and dr#gs..°
SO, its very similar to Kanao's but instead of only poison and drugs, she also was obsessed with her family's health and wisteria.
She would kill for her family, somebody said something mean about Kanae? Found dead in a river the next day.
Did something bad to Kanao? Found dead with a knife on their forehead.
She also had a friend named M#("&&# , she made some wisteria poison for them and M/")#&# put it in their baked sweets and sold them to innocent costumers wanting some sweet treats...
Eventually somebody called 911 and she got send into the asylum.
(Kanae and Aoi also helped Shinobu.)

We all know what yandere is, I mean, you are reading this for a reason! :D
Yandere Meaning :
Yandere is a portmanteau of two Japanese words. The first is yanderu, which means "to be sick," and the second is deredere, used here for "lovestruck." A yandere is often sweet, caring, and innocent before switching into someone who displays an extreme, often violent or psychotic, level of devotion to a love interest.
Mitsuri Kanroji was known as the love hashira in the Tashio Era, she is loving and caring, at least that is what we think.
Maybe she is a little too sweet.
In the modern era, Mitsuri is known to be the best baker in the world (jk) and her sweets are delicious but...
She has a secret recipe that no one knows..
She puts poison in her cupcakes and cookies! :D
In her opinion, it makes them 100x better, also she loves to see such scared faces, she thinks they make people look cuter while begging for mercy!
She obsesses and gets attached to people in the blink of an eye.
She met one of the doctors in the asylum, she loved them for a while, until she got bored of them, they were very rude and not sweet enough for her. So she killed them! The dead doctor's coworker found out and put Mitsuri in the asylum so she wouldn't do anything else.
