If you don't know, the original one-shot was posted in Daydreams and honestly, I could not stop thinking about him and the life they would have together. So here's a cheeky short story for you!
As I prefaced in the Daydream, I mean no offence with this story.
I have done hours upon hours of research for this story to keep it as historically accurate and as respectful as possible. There are themes of religion, which while are not my own beliefs, I respect immensely and it has been a pleasure to learn about both Christian and Old Norse beliefs.
I am aware that Vikings in this age were brutal and it was not pretty. I spare the details of what happens on raids. Depictions of such characters are based on how they were viewed during this era.
Learning about Old Norse culture has been so amazing. I'm so passionate and fascinated by it all and it has been a delight delving into their ways to make this a super immersive story for you. I am bound to have mistranslated a few things. The closest to Old Norse is Icelandic so there are a few varying translations but a huge thanks to haircliprry11 for helping me with those!
