Awkward Part 3

Once you get into your car, you drive home as fast as you can. This past 20 minutes were the most stressful of your life. You needed a drink.

Once you get home you go straight to the alcohol cabinet and begin to drink whatever you can get your hands on. Then you decided before you got too drunk, you wanted to go to the beach and relax. So you did.

You threw on a bikini and wore a oversized shirt dress on top of it. You grabbed your towel, put the alcohol in a tote, and began to walk towards the beach.

5 minutes later you arrive and set your stuff down in a somewhat reserved area. There were still many people walking around but it wasn't totally packed like other spots.

Once you roll your towel out and take the dress off, you pull out a bottle and begin to drink. You can hear somebody whistling behind you. You turn around to see a group of guys cheering you on.

Morons.

Once you finished the bottle, the bitter taste still fresh in your mouth, one of them comes up to you and asks, "hey do you want to come hang with a couple of us?"

"What are you guys doing?" You try your best not the slur.

"Just playing some footie down that way" he says and points to a busier place down the beach.

"Sure why not" you say and begin to walk with them.

After about 10 minutes of playing you felt very tired. You spent most of the time running around like a maniac every time your team scored and overemphasizing every move you made. The guys thought it was funny and often laughed with you. They were very nice to you, at least that's how you perceived it. You couldn't really tell since you were piss drunk.

"Y/n what are you doing?"

You turn around to see Calum and Ashton standing behind you with a frisbee.

"Well what does it look like I'm doing silly? OMG are you guys playing frisbee?! Can I play?!" You say in a very overly excited voice.

"Are you drunk?"

"No I'm enjoying my life Ashton. That's what life is about. Just take a breath in and breathe out" you say while closing your eyes and taking a big breath.

"Y/n we are going to take you home" Calum says while reaching for your hand.

"Woah woah what's going on?" One of the guys you were playing football with comes up and asked.

"Nothing were just taking her home because she isnt in the right state to be playing football with a bunch of strangers" Ashton says while continuing to try and pull you away.

"But I don't want to go. I want to swim with Nemo" you say with a pouty face.

"Hey if the girl wants to say, let her stay" another guy buts in.

"Yeah let me stay. I can take care of myself you guys. Why don't you go fuck off with your little boyband of yours." You say.

"Y/n what the hell happened to you." Calum asks.

"Nothing happened to me, I've been here this whole time."

"What are you even talking about?" Calum asks again.

"Dude lets just go. Let her be" Ashton drags Calum away and they leave.

"WHO WANTS TO GO SWIMMING" you shout. And eventually you and the group of people, now guys and girls, run into the ocean.

You had been swimming for about 10 minutes when you started to feel the alcohol rubbing off. So you and a girl that you didn't know went to get another drink.
