It was quite as she walked down the hallway. It was about 11pm and she wasn't going to give up.

She heard a door shut.
She looked at her brother with fear in her eyes.
They walked down to where the door had been shut. That could hear movement on the inside.
With one final glance at her brother, she opened the door.
