It had been about a month since Mads had moved into her new apartment and there were still so many boxes lying around. She was a huge procrastinator. It didn't help that her parents were dead and she didn't have anyone. All her friends were probably busy and she didn't want to bother them. She was getting a little too stressed out.
Mads got a FaceTime call from Vinnie and quickly wiped her tears and tried to make it look like it wasn't that bad. She got up from the corner that she was sitting in and accepted the call.
"Hey!" Mads said smiling.
"Hey....are you okay?" Vinnie asked, concerned.
"Yeah, I'm good why?" She asked trying to look okay.
"Madelyn....I can see your nose is pink and your eyes are red." He replied. "What happened?"
"What-." Mads started, but Vinnie interrupted her with a look. "I- Okay, fine. I'm trying to unpack and actually move in but I can't it's too stressful. This is something that would be easier if your parents were around....but they aren't." She said and started crying on the phone.
"I'm sorry, darling. I'll come help you right now, you know you can always talk to me and ask for help if you need it." He replied. He really admired her and he hated to see her upset.
"Thanks, Vin, you're so sweet." She replied, wiping her tears.

A few weeks later, Mads was all moved in. Vinnie helped her a lot, through her highs and lows. He was always there for her and she was always there for him. It had been almost 3 months since she started dating Vinnie. They were as strong as ever. They went on dates, spent time with each other, and stayed over at each other's houses. But for the past few days, Vinnie had been acting weird. He had been dodging her calls and always said he was busy. She needed help from her best friends.
