It's been fifteen minutes and Marvel still isn't at his house. I give up and leave. Halfway to my house, the man (pfft he's not a man what am I saying) of the minute emerges from Clove's house. I raise a hand in greeting. He doesn't notice me.

"Okay, then," I mutter. I find my keys, which are always latched onto those holes in your jeans the belt goes through ((A/N: where I keep my keys lol)) and walk in after unlocking the door. When I walk in, Clove's sitting on my livingroom couch.

"Took you long enough," she says.

"How the hell'd you get in here?"

She shrugs. "Your back door was open."

I set my backpack down and sit down next to her, putting my leg onto the stool in front of me.

"Why are you here?" I ask.

"I have stuff to talk with you about."

"Well obviously. But what's this stuff?"

"Romeo."

"Who?"

"The Romeo in our lives."

"I'm not following you."

"The one who's had a crush on you forever!"

"Gale?"

"The one with the real crush."

I sit silent. I know who she's talking about.

"Sir Marvel Sanford!"

"Yeah, I know. What do you have to say about him?"

"He was talking with me earlier."

"I'm aware of that."

"Hush! He was talking to me earlier, about Craig."

I put my arms behind my head. "Yes, and?"

"He's jealous," she says, stretching out the 'jealous'.

"Yeah, I figured."

"He's been wanting to ask you out forever, you know?"

That I didn't know, and I told Clove so.

"Really? Wow. But yeah, he thinks Craig is trying to steal you away from him."

"Yeah, no, Craig and I are just friends."

"That's what I told him! But he doesn't think so."

"Did you tell him what Craig told us?"

"Yeah! He didn't believe me."

"Then what?"

"Then he left."

"Hm."

"What?"

"Nothing, nothing."

"Okay, well anyways, I think he's going to ask you out very soon. Extremely soon. My love senses are tingling."

"You don't have love senses."

Clove puts her hand over my mouth in a successful attempt to shush me.

"Don't ruin my OT—wait."

"Mmrph?"

"Shipping is hard!"

I remove her hand from my mouth. "How so?"

"Look at it this way. You've known Marvel longer, but then Craig's really sweet and—ugh! It's confusing."

"Not the ships again."

"Yes, the ships again!"

I sigh. "Make one of your charts and I'll come back when you're done."

I get up and make it halfway across to the door before realizing.

"Wait a minute, this is my house. Get out."

Clove laughs. "Okay!"

"Come back when you've decided...or just don't come back at all, I don't know. Whatever floats your boat." I call after her.

"Shipping puns!" She cheers from outside. I groan.

"That was unintentional!"

"It counts!"

"Leave!"

"Bye!"

I sink back in my seat and start my homework. It's only a matter of time until Clove comes back shrieking about her final decision.
