I just got down with the youth rodeo and headed back to my trailer to wake up lex I open the door and there she is laying down peacefully I would just leave her there but we do have finals "lex come on" I say trying nudge her awake she's a deep sleeper I see her stirring in her sleep "lexiii wake up" I say and she finally wakes up clinging on to me "do i have too" she says "yes babe if you want a title yes" I say and she giggles "I like that name" she says and I laugh she gets up "ok I'm gonna go get ready" she says walking towards the door "bye lex" I say "by dell" she says and laughs as I give her a look

I just got into my trailer putting on my red shirt that I always wear at finals at any rodeo or like jackpot I straighten my hair and put my grey felt hat on I put my boots on and I saddle my horse

I'm done with everything it's almost time for breakaway j walk up with my horse to london "girl why have you not text me all day" she's says "ok my bad it's my fault I woke up at 12 then I went to dinner until 3 with Stetson then I slept the rest time" I say and she laughs "it's okay chick" she says "I guess ima head over there tell pais I said hi" I told Lind then said by and loped across the arena seeing my boyfriend and his whole family in the stands plus broncs were already done it was just me and then Stetson left so yea I line up in the box and My nerves are through the roof I get my rope set and my elbow back

I nod my head and I swing 2 times and I rope the calf and pull back really quick "THERE IS YOUR BREAKAWAY HIGHSCHOOL WINNER LEXI REY CURRIE DID IT AGAIN" the announcer says and j am just grinning ear to ear my eyes started to get watery cause this what my dad wanted for me and yea just got in the moment yeah starts to play and I lead my horse across the arena and Igor through the gate patting and praising poncho cause he did this with me just to think this was my last rodeo for highschool and the next step was graduating I got off of poncho and Sam ran to me "good job lex I'm so proud of you" she's embracing me in a hug I was still shedding tears of joy "I hope those are happy tears" uncle jb says coming with jagger "they definitely are thank y'all for being by my side also" I say trying to dry my tears and I also hugged jb while holding poncho reins jagger was all over him while we talked london came over and hugged me I see Stetson over in the distance with his family waiting "ok I have to go put him up and I'm gonna come back and watch you and my bf" I say to london and she gasps cause that's the first time I told her that Stetson was my boy friend and I just smile and walk away

I walk away from them and walk up to Stetson and we immediately brace into a hug "good job babe you did really good" Stetson says to me "thank you I'm so glad I found you honestly" I say as I look up to him and kiss his lips in the middle of kissing we hear a whistle and it was his brothers a we laugh and we both walk over to them and they were all congratulating me I ofc said thank you and I went ahead and went to my trailer and put my horse up and feed him
