I groaned and slowly opened my eyes looking up at the sky, i was laying on my back when i lifted my head to look around and noticed i was on a beach of some sort. The ship i had been on was beached in the shallow water nearly on its side, i looked around and did not see any of my comrades that were present on board. I grunted as i stood up slowly before approaching the vessel with a slight limp, most of the cargo we were carrying was scattered around on the sand, crates and supplies of all sorts. i climbed into one of the holes the ship had in her port side and found myself in the cargo hold.
(antonio can speak english but he will mostly speak his native tounge which is latin, all translation will have ( ) on either side.)
" quid accidit....(what happened....) "
I said as i carefully walked through the hull
" adrian! leo! ubi es?? (adrian! leo! where are you??) "
I called out to them to see if they were already aboard the ship but got no reply besides the seaside wind from outside the hull.
" Non memini quid acciderit... naufragium feci in aliquid? (i cant remember what happened...did we wreck into something?) "
I came out of the cargo deck and out onto the main upper deck, i walked carefully to not slip from the slanted angel the ship was at
" i oportet invenire arma et apparatu (i must find my armor and equipment) "
I entered the sleeping quarters and saw that the room was a mess, at the far end i saw the chest that contained my armor and weapons. I opened it and got my armor on and put the exterior clothing over it, i put my belt around my waist and attached the scabbard that contained my sword, i grabbed my helmet and shield before making my way out of the ship. Once outside i took one more look around to see if adrian and leo were around but caught no sight of them.
" Sancta Maria, sodes secura sint ubicumque sunt...(saint mary, please let them be safe wherever they are...) "
I put my helmet on and placed my shield on my back before i walked off away from the beach to see if i can find help

After almost 30 minutes of walking along side this dirt road, i looked around and saw mountains in the distance and wondered where i could have been. In the near distance i saw small buildings, i noticed it was a village and decided to head there and see if i could find assistance. Once i arrived there i saw that the village was quite lively, people walked around working and doing daily things, i noticed however the clothing the people were wearing was much different from the usual clothing people wore in vatican city. A few people noticed me and gave me strange looks as if they where looking at a strange animal, some were even frightened a bit and kept their distance. I called out to a man that was about to walk by
" ignoscas domine, tu scis ubi simus? ( excuse me sir, do you happen to know where we are?) "
The man looked at me confused and spoke in a language i havnt heard before
man: Nani? Watashi wa anata o rikaidekinai (what? i cannot understand you)
I tried speaking english
" forgive me sir, do you happen to know where we are? "
The man looked even more confused and gave a slight bow that looked like he was apologizing before walking off rather quickly, i stood there confused
" quis est qui me adiuvet? Ego lost et habent tribulationis (is there anyone here that can assist me? i am lost and having trouble) "
One of the children in the village saw me and screamed in slight fear before running off to a building up the hill. A minute later a few men came out of the building and walked down the hill, the one at the front of the small group yelled out to me
man: Kimi! Gaikoku hito koko de nanishiteruno! (you! foreigner what are you doing here!)
I looked over to the man not knowing what he said but decided to ask again
" Salve, bone vir, videor perire, visne benignus mihi subvenire? (hello kind sir, i appear to be lost, would you kindly help me?) "
The man instead became upset and drew what looked to be a wooden sword as he went to strike at me, on instinct i drew my sword and struck the weapon with my blade but it sliced the mans weapon in two. The man looked at me in slight shock but still upset, i took a step back and spoke again in english
" i am not here to fight nor do i wish to offend or cause trouble, if i have caused offense or trouble then forgive me! but i am in grave need of help! my ship wrecked ashore not far from here and i was accompanied by two other people which i have no idea where they are! if anyone here at this village understands me, please assist me! "
I said in defense and slight anger, one person from a nearby house stepped down from their porch and spoke up, it was a female

woman: i understand english! but it is Poor
The men that were getting ready to fight me looked at her as did i, the woman walked down her steps and towards me and the men before speaking to the men in their language
woman: Kono otoko o nokoshite kudasai! Kare wa michi ni mayoi, hidoi jiko ni atta! Kare wa shidō ga hitsuyōdesu. (leave this man be! he is lost and has had a terrible accident! he needs guidance.)
The men looked at me then back at the woman, the man that had attacked me spoke
man: Soshite, dōshite kare ga toraburu o okosu tame ni koko ni inai koto o kakushin shite iru nodesu ka! (and how are you so sure that he is not here to cause trouble!)
woman: Kare wa chigaimasu! Kokoro o motte! (he isnt! have a heart!)
the man stood there and stared at me for a moment before shaking his head
man: Totemo yoidesuga, watashitachi wa kare o mimamotte imasu! Soshite, watashitachi ga kare kara kyōi o motarasu nanika o mitara, watashitachi wa kare o atama ni haire sasemasu! (very well, but we will be watching him! and if we see anything from him that poses a threat, we will have him beheaded!)
the men turned and walked back up the hill returning to the building they came form, the woman turned to me as i sheathed my sword and thanked her
" thank you madam. "
woman: there is no need to thank me, would you please come with me? we can sit down over some tea and discuss what you need help with
she said as she motioned towards her house on the hill, i nodded as she led the way...
( and there goes the first chapter, i hope you guys like it so far, i dont know when the next chapter will be coming but i will try my best to post for you. also if you spot any errors in my spelling please let me know where they are, i type very fast and tend to mis spell alot and mess up some sentences)
