Drunk Yet Sober

Chapter 4 - First day as P.A

Diana's POV:

I woke up and prepared the stuff I need to bring with me, have my meal and finish my  hygiene routine, wore my uniform and head to my workplace

I arrive a bit late since there was traffic and went straight to the office of my new "boss" I knock on the door and heard an annoyed voice and was disappointed that she got here first despite being earlier than the said time for me to log in

"Come in, and also why are you late?" I went inside and meet with her gaze that's full of annoyance

"I beg your pardon ma'am, but I am quite early than the time we agreed to" she scoof and roll her eyes

"Oh? Really now? Well, anyway please buy me some Grande pumpkin spice latte  with choco butternut flavored donuts and you only have half an hour to do so or you'll be punished" I almost lose my cool because of how unfair she is I mean I won't be able to finish it under 30 minutes

"O-okay..I will bring your snacks as fast as I can" I then head out and search for a cafe that's near from here

A 5 minute walk and there it is a cafe, called Moon Dew cafe and so without further ado I went inside and saw that a lot of customers are inside but they're already  in a table enjoying their orders so that means the line is occupied with only a few so I went and make the order

"Hello, may I take your order?" I look up and was surprised that the person who's taking my order is none other than my sister, Elem

"Oh, hey...uhm..yeah 1 Grande sized pumpkin spice latte and half dozen choco butternut donuts please" she looks happy while taking my order and starts working on it and so I went to the waiting area

After 10 minutes or so my order is done so I went and head back to the company to give this to her and so I arrive at her office with 5 minutes to spare and so I knock on her door

"Come in" so I did and I put the food on her coffee table and she looked at the food checking for something

"Is something the matter, Ma'am? I am not late right, I mean I still have 5 minutes to spare" she looks at me like I grown two heads and scoff

"How the hell did you get this so fast? Did you really buy this at a cafe or are you making a fool out of me right now?" She looks at me folding both of her arms while she's tapping her heels

"Well, as you can see Ma'am, I definitely went out to buy those stuffs as you ordered, and isn't it obvious with the logo of the cafe that I bought it from?" She scoffed again and sighed

"Are you telling me that I'm dumb and stupid? Is that what you're saying huh??" Said almost yelling but her voice was laced with animosity

"Nope, I did not and never said such a thing but you did so and you, yourself said that you are, and are you tho? Ma'am, are those words of yours do any justice?" I don't know why but she just glared and squint her eyes more to express that she's mad

"How dare you talk to me like that?! And remember, do not go and mess with my bad side or you'll never have chance of having a job again, and be careful with your words or I'll fire you in a heartbeat" she then signal that I should leave and so I did

===== SKIP TIME =====

nighttime then came and I arrived home feeling tired and worn out and imagine it's my very first day and yet feels like I have  been working for years and underpaid to booth

I then went to my kitchen and prepared some small meal and after a minute or so Elem arrived and brought some meat like crab so we both start preparing on our dinner for the day

"Hey, We saw each other this morning right? You okay? You seem bothered at something and also whose order was it? I mean it was diffrent to your preference so I doubt that was yours" she looked at me with concern in her eyes

"Oh that? That was a task by my boss and yeah just tired is all nothing to worry about" she nodded and continue to cook our meal

Our dish came out good so we enjoyed eating our meal together with a smile despite being tired and worn out

Sofia's POV:

I went to my office early because I was going to challenge that Weirdo and while I await I review her files and I am convinced that she really is Diana, and how dare she act like she doesn't know me

A knock was heard on my front door so I answered her quite annoyingly

I let her in and asked her why she's late...and I was supposed to scold her but she then told me that she's not late and stuff like that

The nerve of that weirdo! How annoying!

I then got an idea so I then told her the said idea and that is to buy me food and I also told her that I will make her suffer if she won't be able to complete the task I gave her

So she hurriedly went off to somewhere, not that I care but if she wants to continue work then she should pass my test

After a couple of minutes I heard footsteps near my door then a knock was heard afterwards and that left me baffles because of how fast and early she is and I won't stand it if she got my order wrong just she wait

"I brought your food Ma'am, and also I won't face the said punishment since I got here on time, heck I even have 5 minutes to spare so that means I'm in the clear right?" I checked the items she bought and look around if she got something wrong and seeing nothing was wrong it made me annoyed because she won

I huff and fold my arms and look at her straight in the eyes and she looks confused and since I can't really do anything since she really did a great job I just can't help it but left a sigh and signal her to go away

As she recieved the signal she then made her way and exit my office and I sat on my chair thinking on how to make her life miserable, how to make her pay for the things she did before, I won't easily make it easy for her because she needs to be punished
