3:30pm - 5:00pm
Expansion, cutting and hammering

(Carl's POV)
"Well well well..." He said, "Look what we have here."

"Troy is in charge here, listen to him carefully." Tavia stated.

"Yeah, because if you don't you'll suffer the consequences." He smiled.

Tavia gave him a look and then walked off, she left the door open and I felt like making a run for it, but that really wouldn't do me any good.

"Well don't just stand there!" Troy yelled. "Get to work."

"But you haven't told us what to do?" Clementine asked.

"Don't get smart with me missy!" Troy snarled.

"Asshole." I whispered to myself.

"See what Jane and Mike are doing?" He asked, Clem and I looked over to see what they were doing. Cutting and hammering boards onto walls. Seemed simple enough. "That is what you'll be doing." Troy finished.

I walked over and picked up a plank and a saw and I began cutting my first piece. The bench was rickety but I tried my best to cut as straight as I could.

"Troy?"

It was Tavia on the radio.

"Yes?" Troy said, answering it.

"We need you up top right away." Tavia replied.

"What's going on?" He asked.

"Just hurry." Tavia said, ending the conversation.

Troy put his radio back on his belt and turned to face us all. We all looked up at him and he raised an eyebrow.

"I got other business to attend to." He said "Don't stuff up anything why I'm gone! You hear?"

And with that, he walked out.

(Clems POV)
"Thank god for that." I said.

"You can say that again." The man named Mike said.

"What's his problem anyway?" Carl asked.

"Nobody knows, I think he just like bossing people around." The woman named Jane answered.

"You don't say." I smiled.

She smiled back at me and looked down at the piece of wood I was struggling to cut.

"Here, let me help you with that." She said.

She walked over and grabbed the saw from me. She cut halfway into the plank and left the rest for me to finish. I thanked her and she walked back over to her own work.

About 10 minutes later and a few planks down, Reggie walked in.

"Hey guys." He said.

He looked around probably looking for Troy.

"Where's Troy?"

"Had to go up top to do something." Jane answered.

"Oh okay." Reggie shrugged. "I'm gunna go work outside on the wall. Holler if you need anything."

"Will do." Mike said.

20 minutes passed and Troy still hadn't returned (good riddance) and Carl and I have both cut 15 planks, once cut we then passed them onto Jane and Mike so they could hammer them to the wall. It sorta was a fun process. Reggie was still outside the wall working on whatever he was doing, I hope he is okay.
