Riddle-senpai stood up from his seat and gained everyone's attention
"Before the croquet match, a toast. You all have your teacups? Today is nobody's birthday, so to this Unbirthday Party! Cheers!"
"Cheers!" The residents cheered after Riddle-senpai and I heard Cater-senpai talking to Ace
"Ace, isn't now your chance?" Cater-senpai asked and Ace started walking towards Riddle-senpai
"Alright... Excuse me, Dorm leader" Ace called out and Riddle-senpai looked at Ace
"You are... Ah, the freshman tart thief" Riddle-senpai said
"Umm, I would like to apologize for eating the tart before. So I baked a new one" Ace said and it made Riddle-senpai curious but the bad feeling still lingers within me
"Hmm? I'm curious, what kind of tart?" Riddle-senpai asked
"Thank you for asking! It is a mont blanc stuffed to the brim with fresh chestnuts" Ace said
"A mont blanc!? I can't believe this! Riddle-senpai exclaimed
"Huuh?" Ace looked at Riddle-senpai with a confused look
"Laws of the Queen of Hearts No. 562: One must never bring a mont blanc to an Unbirthday Party. You violated an imperative rule! How could you do something like this!? The Unbirthday Party is ruined!" Riddle-senpai yelled
"N-No.562!?" Deuce said with a surprised tone and look
"Um... How many rules are there Riddle-senpai?" I asked without adding fuel to the fire
"I'm happy you asked Maria, there are 810. I have every single one memorized. I am the dorm leader after all" Riddle-senpai said
"Oh no, we're so screwed... Trey, did you know?" Cater-senpai whispered to Trey-senpai
"I've only committed 350 to memory. We let our guards down. To think there's rules about the kind of tart..." Trey-senpai whispered
"As dorm leader of Heartslabyul, out of respect to the strictness of the Queen of Hearts, I can't close my eyes to this matter. Dispose of this mont blanc immediately! And throw these rule breakers out!" Riddle-senpai pointed at Ace, Deuce and Grim
'How come he's not pointing at me? I was involved in making the mont blanc too' I thought to myself
"Wait just a moment! You really have dumbass rules like that?" Ace yelled
"Yeah! I'll eat it if you're just gonna toss it" Grim said
"Is food all you care about Grim?" I asked with a sigh
"My deepest apologies, Dorm Leader. I was the one who said we should make a mont blanc." Trey-senpai said as he tried to protect Ace, Deuce and Grim from trouble
"Yeah, yeah. I didn't think there would be a rule for something like that" Cater-senpai said
"I'm also to blame as well since I helped make the tart. So, I apologize, and I'll accept any punishment" I said and shocked everyone
"Making it isn't the problem here. The fact that you brought here! Now, today, is the problem! Also, Maria, if you wanted to know the rules you could've asked me or Trey and we would've given you a book with the rules." Riddle-senpai said. I was about say something but Grim cut me off
"Anyone who follows that kind of rule is an idiot" Grim said with an angry tone
"Idiot... You say?" Riddle-senpai said while glaring at Grim
