Almost 18 months after Ashok's wedding

Mullai had completed her Masters degree and was back in Kunnakudi

She frequented the shop now and then..

The first few times she came Kathir ignored her completely..and even walked off the moment she arrived mumbling something about getting a tea or meeting someone

Taking the cue Mullai made it a habit to call the shop in advance with a list so he knew she would be coming
