-FLASHBACK.

"jake, try this."

this memory was a few years back...
when i was at least 16 or 17.

"what is that...?", i ask

i looked at the bag, seeing pills in there. i got a little nervous, i didn't want to take these?

"it's just some pills... it won't hurt, right?"

i was about to say something before he handed it to me.

"it won't hurt, just take one."

"i don't want to..."

my boyfriend scoffs, looking at me.

"just fucking take one, now!", he said, slightly yelling.

i came to this party to have fun, i didn't want this to happen... he's giving me drugs! what if i die after i take these?

my boyfriend glares at me, waiting for me to take one.

i slowly open the bag, taking one of the pills out. he passes me water, smiling at me.

i put the pill in my mouth, drinking water after.

him and his friends start screaming, hyping me up. i just sat there, wanting to cry.

i continued to "party" with all my "friends". i wanted to go home but my ride was my boyfriend...

i started to feel weird... my vision got blurry, my body got heavy. i felt like i was going to faint...

"chin-mae, i don't feel good."
(NOTE: THE NAME CHIN-MAE MEANS "TRUTH")

"okay? go sit down, jake."

i was about to walk to the couch when everything went black.

✗ AT THE HOSPITAL

"did you take any type of pills?"

i slowly nodded, feeling guilty

"you're lucky, mr.jake sim. you could of died."

i sighed, feeling tears forming on the side of my eyes.

i can't believe chin-mae tried to kill me...? after everything i've done for him. if i would have died, he'd be a murderer...

the nurse left, giving me some time to think.

then, a certain someone came in my room.

"jake, are you okay?"

i didn't say anything, i just started crying.

"chin-mae, we're over."
