"I love you," ain't that the worst thing you ever heard?
Raya Caswell has known Ricky Bowen since she was younger, way before he had met Nini Salazar-Roberts, and she had been in love with him since then.
So when Ricky asks her out during the summer that she flaked out of theatre camp, of course she had to say yes to him because, as she had told her friends, "He's Ricky," before that one date became two, then three, until it turned into kissing at the back room of Slices and going swimming at the beach, and even staying at the Caswell Beach House alone for the most of the summer.
When the summer came to an end, Raya was surprised by the sight of her boss' son at her front door with a guilty look on his face.
