-y/n sighed as he woke up. Hearing movement from the others he quickly sat up and crouched up holding his bag-

Y/n: wakey wakey guys we need to get moving!

Eren: -groans-

Y/n: i know but we need to move to get our rations.

-mikasa woke up and walked over to him-

Mikasa: morning...

Y/n: -smiles- still manage to look cute even waking up?

-mikasa hid her face in her scarf but y/n held her hand gently looking at the slight bloody badages-

Y/n: feeling any better?

Mikasa: y-yea thanks.

Y/n: well eren is waking up lets turn them.

-y/n slowly turned the weak bandages so the "clean" side was on the wound.-

Y/n: -smiles- good as new, now can you be a darling and wake up eren?

-mikasa nodded and went to eren as y/n slowly turned the bandages on his hands. He looked through his bag making sure everything was there. The stuff he had already was his knife, 3 small rolls of bandages, 2 water, and the gift from his parents. He had more but he had to share with mikasa and eren and sadly the last amount of money is in the absolute worst scenario.-

Mikasa: just let me do it.

Eren: i got it mikasa!

-y/n looked up seeing eren try to turn his weak bandages on his hand but tore them causing y/n to sigh and walk to them swinging his backpack on.-

Y/n: mikasa go hide our mats please?

Mikasa: -sighs- okay -walks away-

Y/n: -crouches in front of eren- you can't be reckless eren.

Eren: i wasn't trying too i had it but she fought with me.

Y/n: even so, sometimes you have to let other people do it regardless if you want too. -takes the torn bandages off- to preserve what we need. We don't have much to spare.

Eren: im sorry.

Y/n: -takes his bandages off on one hand and wraps eren's- don't worry just remember what i said.

Eren: what about your hand?

-eren looked at y/n's hand scarred and had dried blood on it.-

Y/n: -chuckles- don't worry it feels fine.

-y/n stands up and helps eren up, they see mikasa come back carrying y/n's coat.-

Y/n: oh you didn't have too. -puts the coat on-

Mikasa: i know it's just a thank you.

Eren: real smooth.

-mikasa glared at eren as y/n laughed.-

Y/n: okay! We need to go now we wasted enough time.

-as the 2 walk ahead of him he put his knife in his coat and quickly walked forward leading them to the food line.-

-y/n walked to the alleyway in the shade and sat down tired from waiting in the line. Mikasa and eren looked at the bread in y/n's arms but before they could grab the bread a man's voice is heard.-

Man: oi you got quite the amount of bread there.

Y/n: -glares and stands up- not really it's the right amount.
