Chapter 9

Y/n's pov:

A few hours has pssed since kitty and i talked, i was still at the tree trying to clear my mind and focus on all the things that can lead me to my sister

"Hey, y/n" I heard lizzie greeted as she walked towards me, i looked up to her and smile "Oh Hi liz, need anything?" I asked

She sat beside me nodding her head while humming "If you don't mind, would you be my date for briar's party? I mean- like you know- uh- it would be easier to be with a friend- you know?" She asked nervously

I laughed at her "Ofcourse yes, i was actually thinking about just bringing a friend too" I answered patting her cheek which made her sigh in relief

Third person's pov:

"Aha ha ha ha!" A laugh can be heard inside ever after high which made briar wake up gasping

"Uh, Professor Rumpelstiltskin? This is totally unfair" Apple stated as she stood up

"You can't test us on chapter one through 34"

"We've only studied up to chapter two"

"I cannot tell a lie, an well, that- that's just not very nice"

All the complaints just made Rumpelstiltskin laugh in delight

"You guys don't know about professor Rumpelstiltskin? At the beginning of each year, he gives an insanely hard test. His students have to ask for extra credit..." Blondie said imagining Rumpelstiltskin laughing behind her while she made gold

"Which is just spinning straw into gold for him" Blondie said "The test is tomorrow morning. Look, I'm totally getting stress splinters" Cedar said looking at her hands

"Well, i could tutor you guys. I've been studying on my own, like, forever after" Briar said looking at the others

"Royally cool" Ashylnn complimented, "Lets start with the basic elements" briar yawned before falling into deep slumber

The others looked at eachtoher before apple poked briar "If we can't wake up briar we're totally going to fail the test" Cedar said

Apple and ashlynn looked at y/n grinning suspiciously while y/n looked back at them confused

"What?" Y/n asked "Don't you read every single book you see? For sure you know about this right?" Apple asked

Y/n shook her head no "Apologies sister, i have been quite busy since school started so sadly i have no knowledge about anything at the book except chapter 1 and 2" Y/n said sighing sadly with the others

"That was too formal" Apple said elbowing y/n's stomach which made the latter groan in response glaring at her

They tried numerous ways of waking up briar but to no avail, every single thing we tried failed

"Man, if only she took studying as seriously as partying" Dexter joked "Ah, that's it!" Raven exclaimed

They played some music in the speaker which miraculously woke up briar "Ah! Hey, guys, what's up?" Briar asked as she sat up

"You, finally. But now you have to stay awake and help us" Raven said "Well, there's one thing I'm always up for- a study party!" Briar cheered

"Yes! Yes"

Then they started partying while briar taught them about the elements in a fun way or may i say a "Hex-cellent" Way (i hate myself)

"Time is up, Let's see how you failed" Rumpelstiltskin said taking all of the students paper

Rumpelstiltskin started grading as he saw multiple A's he started getting angrier and angrier

"Never underestimate the power of a study party" Briar laughed with the others as she High-fived with dexter
