M/N pov:
I yawn as I slowly drift awake from my sleep. Was that all a dream? Meeting the real Rengoku Kyojuro.
I feel a weight on my stomach. I look to see Numget on my stomach, wide awake. I look around and notice I'm on the couch.
I look around and hear shuffling in the kitchen. I stand up and walk into the kitchen where I see Rengoku looking around.
'So glad it wasn't a dream! ' I cheer internally as Rengoku turns to me. "Oh, hello there Y/N!" Rengoku greeted me with a wave.
"We'll be doing something special today" I tell Rengoku, walking into the kitchen. "Oh boy, what?" Rengoku asks me.
"Were going out so I can introduce you to society" I tell him as I open the fridge and get a bottle of milk.
"Oh my! That is special!" Rengoku lit up with joy. 'He's so cute!' I think, holding my breath.
I manage to get my composure. "There's some spare clothes in the room you slept in, in the draw" I told Rengoku.
"Ah, why thank you!" Rengoku shouts as he walks past and upstairs. Numget rubs my leg and I pick him up.
It's time I get changed too. I walk upstairs, cat in arms as I make my way to my bedroom. That's when I get a call from my phone.
"Yellow?" I answer. " M/N YOU GOTTA HELP ME!" I hear Mango shout from the other side. "What, your girl leave you?" I jokingly ask.
"Well yes...BUTS THATS BESIDE THE POINT! YOU KNOW THAT DEMON THAT KILLED RENGOKU?!" He shouts through the phone.
"Uh...Yes? Why wouldn't I? Is something up?" I ask. "HES HERE! I FOUND HIM OUTSIDE MY HOME!" Mango shouts, shocking me.
"W-WHAT!? NO WAY!?" I shout out, startling Numget. "W-well they have their demon traits, he's not a Demon anymore" Mango told me.
I try and think of a rational solution. Akaza should have died far FAR after Rengoku. But in 2 days, Akaza died and ended up here.
Maybe the timeline works differently, but then, if that we're the case, then Akaza should have been one of the last to show up.
It's best not to think about it for now. "Is he Hostile? Passive? Tell me" I ask Mango. "Well... He's not aggressive, but he isn't friendly either" Mango said.
"Its more like, he's distraught" Mango tells me."I have no idea what to do, could you come over?" Mango asks me. "Well, I'm in a similar situatuation" I admit.
"Wha?" Mango makes a confused sound. "Rengoku is here with me" I whisper in the phone. "WHAT!? WHY DIDNT YOU TELL ME!?" Mango shouts.
"Look, we can't meet up just yet. And we certainly can't bring one to the other. There will be conflict" I tell Mango.
