I should have known that my princess will get me back. Little vixen surely had me going there for one minute; well, she will pay for her little stunt.
Now, it took her an hour longer to come to save me from my own hell, and still, after that, I begged her to finish what she so cruelly started. After much convincing and some seductive kisses at that sweet spot behind her ear, I got exactly what I needed to get me going again.
So, we are finding ourselves standing in the kitchen discussing our next step. She has suggested that we hit her father's warehouse. Well, I can say the girl impresses me, for I would only have taken that afterward.
Mason, on the other hand, is finding this amusing, "Boss, why did you not think of this, or were you too tied up at the moment when your brain was present?"
"Mason, in fact, my brain was not present, and you better fucking run before I get behind that counter."
Just as I am about to reach over to slap the man, my princess looks at me with a rather frustrated look of annoyance on her face, "Do you boys think you can stop playing so that we can go? I seriously want to get this shit over with."
"Princess, I am sorry, but you cannot come along for this one."
"Why, Christian?"
"It is going to lead in a gun battle, and I don't want you to get caught in the middle."
"Well, sorry, but I have already been caught in the middle of your little war. Now can we please go?"
"Princess, I said no."
"Christian.
"No, you are not coming with, and that is the end of it. Jax will stay with you."
With that, she spins on her heels and leaves in a huff. As she disappears down the hallway, I can only but hear her curse underneath her breath. She thinks this is a game. It was all fun and well when we were shadowing her dad, and yes, walking in on me while I causally chopped off a man's finger was still enough to let slip. There is just no way that I am letting her sit in a car and, god-forbid, even watch as she walks into a warehouse where she could get killed. I do not care if she is Joseph's daughter or not.
And so the mood in the kitchen has now hit an all-down low; Mason realizes now, too, that the games are over. So as I turn to Jax, he sees only but anger on my face, "You do not let her out of your sight. If she leaves this house, then you are fucking dead."
"Sure, boss, but you know that she is going to do what she likes."
"Well, then you need to decide what it is that you would like. I am telling you this, Jax, if Cassandra leaves this house, then I will end you, do you understand?"
"Yes, boss."
It only but take us all except Jax, Leo, and Frank to pile into the cars towards where we shall find Joseph's warehouse. Now this will be an easy in and out. The plan is, burn the fucking place to the ground. There is no way that I am keeping what is Joseph's apart from his daughter, who I fucking hope has listened and stayed with Jax put.
So as we near the final corner into the harbor, it is oddly eerily quiet for this time of night. Guess the hit on one of the last of Joseph's men has him spooked and does have in hiding. Well, what a coward of a man he is. I shall hunt him down and take him out if this is the last thing that I ever do. I would rather die in honor than hide in a hole waiting for it all to go away.
As we pull up to the entrance, we dim the lights and silence the engine; not seeing them is necessarily not that they are not there.
But the very moment we want to step from the vehicle, there is a thundering roar from behind, a car comes with brute force from the back straight into our car. Well, we have not come unseen. We are now firmly caught between the dumpster and the front of a black SUV.
