As you were slowly waking up blinking while adjusting to the bright light you had a harsh headache "Probably from getting slammed against the wall" you thought
You somewhat fully woke up feeling something besides your bed when you look you see a familiar figure laying his head on the side of your bed asleep
"Did he fall asleep or something?" You whispered softly to yourself
Your throat felt dry so you didnt talk in the normal tone as you usually do you kept at a whisper
After slowly sitting up on your bed you begin to play with Inumaki's hair surprisingly it was soft you felt him move a little bit when he finally lift his head up to see you he looked shocked he immediately pulled you into a hug
"Dont scare me like this again" he softly whispered
You were surprised since you never heard him talk before besides him using his curse speech
"Im sorry" you whispered back Inumaki could tell something was wrong "Do you need water?" He asked back to you reading his mind you shook you head as in agreement
He went to get a cup of water and brought it to you
You drank the water really fast finishing it in seconds "How long was a knocked out for" you asked him "5 days" you looked at him in shocked "5 days?!?!" You said raising your voice a little bit he nodded his head
"Are you sure? Do you mean like 5 hours or something?" You asked not convince
Inumaki handed you the phone and you saw the date and he was right its been 5 days "Damn that thing must've hit me pretty good then" you thought
A few seconds later you heard someone "Inumaki i think you should leave so i can check on Y/n" Someone said
When she walked in she was shocked too but kept her composure "Oh Y/n your awake?" She asked "Yeah i guess i am Ieiri" you said
"You woke up earlier then i thought" She chuckled a bit "Really?" You said "I mean from your conditions it looked like you were gonna wake up in a 2-3 weeks" she said nervously
You were again shocked from what she said "I think you should stay here for a few more hours just in case alright?" She said
You gave her a smile in agreement as she left the room
"Does anything hurt?" Inumaki questioned "I still have a pretty bad headache but other then that im good" You said reassuring him
"Y/N" You heard someone screamed from down the hall and of course it was your dad
You covered your ears for a sec until he stepped into the room "Are you ok?!?!" He asked in a worried tone
"Yeah im fine dad" you gave him a reassuring smile.He smiled back at you pulling you into a really tight hug
"Dad- i need to breathe" He put you down "Sorry i was really worried" He said laughing a little bit "Well im gonna leave with your boyfriend while i find the others" he said teasingly while waving you bye at the door
You waved back until you process what he said but before you said anything he was already gone you turned to Inumaki "Are you ok?" Since the last time you saw him was when he collapsed since he pushed himself to his limit
You put your arms out as a signal for him to hug you
He came over pulling you into a comforting hug It was a comfortable silence til someone knocked on the door
"Um are we interrupting something?"
