Organic Chemistry. The healthy side of chem. No GMOs over here. No but you probably shouldn't eat this, it probably isn't great for you. Although not eating it is a rule for most of chemistry. This review is on the start of the overall organic chemistry topic, and is imperative to be able to do the rest of the topic. Some bits might be hard to explain with words, but I can try.
To begin I will go through some terms which are useful to know:
Hydrocarbon- a compound containing only carbon and hydrogen
Saturated- a compound with only single bonds
Unsaturated- a compound with at least one multiple bond
Homologous series- a family of compounds with the same general formula and properties
Functional group- the part of a molecule which is responsible for the chemical properties
