Melanie's POV'S

  I WAS STRETCHING MY LEGS while my aunt was watching me. I was number 145 and I was looking around, everyone was doing turns and acro. I mean, my best style is Hiphop and Contemporary.

"Are you scared?". Aunt Jennifer asked. "Yeah.". I say. "Girls.". Abby yells. I look at my aunt. "No pasa nada, cariño, estarás bien.". (It's ok baby, you'll be fine)

I nod and then leave. I start to fix my pigtails more as I walk into the studio. I'm auditioning for the L.A. studio, let's just say I'm nervous.

I was so scared that people would be judging me, I mean, I'm not very good at Lyrical or Ballet. "Good morning! Welcome to the Abby lee dance company!". Ms Abby says to us.

"Good morning!". People say. "This is gonna be cool and simple! Gia will teach you the choreography and you'll rehearse.". Abby say. "When your done, we'll bring in a group and then you will show me what you got.". Abby says.

I nod and take a deep breath. I look around and see that there are a small amount to people looking at me. "Just breath Melanie, your gonna blow your chance.". I say to myself and I get to my place.

We start learning the choreo, thankfully it was Contemporary. I was doing good in the dance and hitting the points. "Ok! Everyone out of the room except for numbers 1-50!". Abby says and I leave the room.

I go to my aunt and see that everyone is looking at her. "It's ok, there just mad that I'm 31 and I look this good.". She says and I laugh.

It was like 30 minutes later and  I hear Abby start to say."100 - 150!". Abby says and look at my aunt before I stand up.

I go into the room and I see girls everywhere. I get to my spot and I start to pose.

After I'm done, I do my pose. "Ok, next group!". Abby says and I look down. "¿Estás bien Melanie?". My aunt asks me. (Are you ok Melanie?)

"No creo que haya entrado en el equipo.". I say and my aunt hugs me. (I don't think I made the team) I had tears coming from my eyes and people were staring.

"Do y'all want a picture or something?". Aunt Jennifer says and I laugh a little. "It's ok, you need your confidence.". She says and I smile. I sit up and wipe my tears.

"Trust me, step your confidence up girl, you'll do great.". Aunt Jennifer says. "All girls come in!" Abby says and I stand up from the chair. I go into the room.

I went in and I stood next to a blonde girl, she looked my age. "If I call your number, congratulations!". Gia says.

"If your number......". Gia starts to say and I look down. "219 and 145! Congratulations!". Gia says and I look up, I smile and look out the window. My aunt is looking at me. "Congrats girls.". Gia says and I look at the blonde girl.

"Congrats.". I say and hold my hand out. "Thank you.". She says. "I'm Brynn.". She says. "I'm Melanie.". I say. I walk out the door and go to my aunt. I hug my aunt and start crying happy tears.

"You made it baby!". She says. "I know!". I say.
