Have you ever paid attention to what happens before the storm? Hearing the rumbling of the thunder and lighting in the sky before it decides to strike.

Well that was exactly what Alexandria was experiencing. Though in the present it has been a couple of years since Alexandria's powers first appeared. They have been growing as every year passed.

So in the present, she was currently feeling a large amount of dread, and something told her it was about Tony.

Though the minute she fully processed the feeling, her phone started to ring out of her hands. Unsurprisingly, to her at least Aaron was calling her. Though the ringing of her phone caused all of her fellow air passengers to give her pointed looks, she undoubtedly ignored them. .

"Aaron, what's wrong?

"It's Tony"

Currently, the storm was in full force and the news of Tony's supposed kidnapping swept the nation. Everyone who is close to Tony knew, well all except for Madison.

She was currently sleeping the day away. Honest, it was well deserved she had spent the last few weeks trying to clean up Tony's act in the media nonstop.

Another reason for the all-day slumber that Madison wasn't fully ready to admit was, she is still trying to forget what happened with Everhart.

She continuously told herself, "It's none of my business, sure I and Tony had a moment. But that's all it was nothing else."

Her roaming thoughts were interrupted by her phone buzzing.

"Hello" Madison questioned exhausted.

"Madison" Alexandria muttered softly causing Mads to stiffen at attention. She's never heard Alexandria speak so softly.

"It's about Tony, he's been reported missing."

Suddenly everything froze, and Madison froze. Her breathing became restricted as a sudden feeling of Deja-vu took over.

"What?" The blond replies lightly, her tone turned completely soft as well riddled with fear.

"The truck he was in was hijacked, we're not exactly sure of who it was but some people think it was terrorists.

"So there isn't any sign of him anywhere," Madison replied once again but her voice started trembling with fear.

"No there isn't,"

Those three words completely took Mads to the deep end, she couldn't even hear the next thing Lex said. Still in shock, the phone slipped out of her hand and off onto the bed. One tear strode down her face before she closed her eyes tightly and folded in on herself.

Only if Madison knew.

Tony was thinking of her constantly over the last three months, and though he would never fully admit it, he was.

Currently, the engineer was modeling his new life force.

The Arc Reactor

Though it was a bit clucky in style, it would do for now. But that wasn't Tony's only play, to get of here. He would need something big.

After all, he is in the eye of the storm.

Watching a storm occur on the sidelines that interferes with the lives of those you used to be close with was something entirely new for Pepper Potts.

The thing is she didn't feel any type of way about Tony's disappearance.

Living off of the royalties of her book, life is good.

"I would like you all to welcome my new guest. Pepper Potts" Jay Leno welcomed the former assistant onto the stage.

The audience cheered on excited and delighted for her appearance. The interview went off without a hitch. Until that question came up.

"Now I'm sorry to ask but I just gotta", Leno started off hesitant "How do you feel about Tony Stark being presumed dead?"

Pepper started off with a timidity "Even though me and Tony had our disagreements, I have never wished any harm on him, I pray for all that were close with him and give my condolences"

The audience and Leto hushed with certain gratitude reflecting on her words as Pepper's face stayed sincere and pitiful.

If only they all knew how much bullshit that all was.
