"Killua?" I said, frowning. "This isn't the way to my house." He had his hand in mine and he was practically dragging me along. We'd just turned down the wrong side of the street.
"I know." He murmured. "There's something I have to show you."
"Hmm?" I said, blinking once. "I'm past my curfew already-" I stopped mid- sentence when I realised he wasn't even listening.
"I'm not letting you inside that house again, but I'm not going in either." He turned so his eyes met mine again. "What? Do you think I'm stupid?" I stared at him in shock. I knew that he probably wasn't very strong from the way he looks, but he always seemed like the reckless type to me. I smiled to myself, realising that he really did care.
"So where are we going?" I asked.
"You have an older sister, right?" I froze. How would he possibly know that? I tried to look back, but I couldn't recall any time where I may have told him that.
"How did you...?"
"It's not important right now." He said hastily. " Do you know where she is?"
"No..." I whispered. "She left home- I helped her. We were going to escape together, but they got me."
"Right, well I have an idea for where she could be." I nodded silently.
Timeskip brought to you by Killua's chocolate balls~
We stopped outside a house just outside a city- quite near to where our school was. I looked at Killua, tilting my head to the side.
"Well..." He sighed. "Since she probably wanted to be relatively near you yet not near your parents, this was probably a good place. Plus, it's isolated. There are no other houses around. I go past this house everyday on my way to..." He stopped mid sentence, and gave me a shaky smile. "Well, the point is she's probably here." I gawped at him.
"You're smarter than you look!" I said, shocked. He never showed it at school. He just shrugged and lead me to the front door, knocking and not giving me a chance to think. A girl opened the door, with the same e/c eyes and h/c hair as me.
"Y...y/n?" She just stood there, shaking. She practically attacked me with a tight hug, making me give off a raspy laugh.
"Chiuki!" I yelled the name of my sister. I jumped up quickly, smiling.
"How did you escape?" She asked. I gestured over to Killua.
"This is Killua! He really helped me." He gave Chiuki a subtle smile and a wave, and she gave one back.
"Nice boyfriend you have there, Y/n!"
I felt my cheeks get hot, and I bet Killua was blushing too. I frantically waved my hands in front of my face.
"N-no! It's not like that!" We both yelled at her simultaneously. She just laughed sweetly and guided us into her home. It wasn't anything special, but definitely better than my old home.
"You can stay here, Y/n. And so can Killua- if he wants." She wiggled her eyebrows at me and I growled. Luckily, Killua didn't see this.
"Thanks, but I'd never have the guts to run away from me house."
"Hmm?" We both turned to look at him. His eyes widened and he shook his head frantically.
"Nothing! Pretend I never said anything."

"Bye, Killua." I said, facing him. It was pretty late, and he was about to head home. "I-I don't know how I'll ever repay you..." He shook his head, smiling.
"You don't need to. I'm always happy to help you, Y/n. I'll always be here." I nodded and smiled, giving him a brief hug before pulling away, a tint of pink rising up to my cheeks. He spun on his heel and began to walk away, his hands stuffed into his pockets. I watched him walk away, and then kept standing there for a while. I sighed- Killua was everything I wanted in a boy.
"Y/n! Get inside- it's freezing!" I sprinted in, blinking back tears. Something told me that things would only get better from here, and I couldn't wait.
