They called it later the great Wave. It was an impressive name for an event so transient.
In the human realm, it was invisible. The humans didn't feel anything. The shockwave itself only affected a handful of individuals in a remote laboratory. Its consequences impacted the human realm in a chain reaction with irreversible effects.
On Aurelios, there was a slight restlessness hanging over the perennial peace. The angels felt it in their bones, like a tear in the very fabric of the universe. They took it in stride, valiantly facing the gangrene of the world that was suffocating them slowly.
On Caidos, it was chaos...as usual. The demons on the higher level wondered if another low level had attempted a perilous ascension using a profane method. On the lower level, rumour has it that Lucifer had overthrown Hades. Only a few demons, mostly the Fallen, recognized the shockwave as the sign of a wave of change. It didn't really change much. Chaos reigned on Caidos during peacetime and during wartime peace.
