Season 3, episode 9
••••••••••••••••••••••••••

Me and stiles get out of the jeep and Scott gets off his bike, "where is she?" Stiles asks.

"Over here" Allison calls out.

Allison and Lydia walk towards us, "Lydia?"

"It's the same thing" Lydia tells us, "Same thing as the pool. I got into the car heading somewhere totally different, and ended up here. And you told me to call you if there's a dead body."

"You found a dead body?" Stiles asks.

"Not yet" Lydia says.

"Not yet?" Stiles repeats in question form "what do you mean not yet? Lydia you're supposed to call us after you find the dead body."

"No I'm not doing that again" Lydia argues "you find the dead body form now on."

"How are we supposed to find the dead body?" Stiles questions "you're always the one finding the dead body."

I pick up the familiar scent of blood, I turn my head and see a dead body on the school sign, "guys. I found the dead body."

"Idioms, analogies, metaphors and similes, all tools the writer uses to tell their story" miss Blake talks, "Lydia I wasn't aware you had so many hidden talents."

"You and every guy I've ever dated" Lydia snaps, I snort from behind her nearly spitting out my water.

"Well that was a idiom by the way" Miss Blake awkwardly says "Idioms are something of a secret to the people who know the language or the culture. They're phrases that only make sense if you know key words. Saying jump the gun is meaningful only if you know about the starting gun in a race, or a phrase like seeing the whole board."

"Like chess" stiles guesses.

"That's right stiles"  miss Blake smiles "do you play?"

"No my father does" stiles tells her.

"Now when does an idiom become a cliche?"

"Why are you even talking to me?" Ethan asks us "I helped kill your friend, how do you know I'm not gonna kill another one?"

"Is he looking at me?" Stiles questions "are you threatening me? You know what I'm gonna do? I'm going to break off an extra large branch of mountain ash, wrap it in wolfsbane, roll it in mistletoe, and shove it up your freaking-"

"Stiles" Scott yells "we get it. We're talking to you because I know that you didn't want to kill Boyd. And I think that if something like that happened now, you wouldn't do it again."

"You don't know what we owe them" Ethan tells us, "especially Deucalion."

"It was your fault for making a deal with the devil" I state.

"We weren't like kali and Ennis when we met him" Ethan continues "we weren't alphas."

"What were you?" Scott questions.

"Omegas" Ethan sighs "In actual wolf packs, omegas are the scapegoat, the last to eat, the one who had to take the abuse from the rest of the pack."

"So you and your brother were like the bitches of the pack" stiles says.

"Something like that" Ethan answers.

"What happened?" I ask.

"They were killers" Ethan tells us "I mean people talk about us as monsters. Well they were the ones who gave us the reputation. And our alpha was the worst of them."
