It started with a pacifier?

Chapter 9

Hey guys so it's been 2 years since I've updated, this is a small update, I would love to continue this story if anyone wants me to, let me know in the comments (:

*next day, Alaines POV*

I groan when the sheets are pulled off me
"Go away" I mumble into the pillow, my mother can come back later, I'm sure I have time

"Up now" I hear a deep voice which causes me to jump, who Tf is in my room, I look up and see Lucas standing at the end of the bed, ready and dressed
Did I completely forget I'm sort of living with two hot twins, maybe

"School alaine, I picked your outfit, it's in the bathroom, coke out when your done so Cole can braid your hair" he smiles and walks out the room, I yawn and drag myself from this cozy bed
"I'm going to miss you" I say to the pillow before heading into the bathroom

I look at what's been hung up behind the door, it's a cute white skirt with a cardigan that's a mint green with different flowers on it, all stitched and each somehow matching the other, I smile and open the cardigan which reveals a nice white and mint green crop top, looking down I see some boots which are mint green and have white laces and white soles to them, I study the clothes for a minute and realise I never packed any of this, nor do I own it

Quickly changing I head outside the bathroom and hurry downstairs, the boys are sitting down at the table, staring at me
"Don't you look beautiful" Cole says and I smile
"Thank you but Uhm- I don't remember owning any of these clothes" I mumble and Lucas smiles
"I know, I had some stuff ordered to the house and they arrived this morning, I wanted to have you dressed in specific looks" he says and pats the seat next to him

"Come eat and then Cole will do your hair" I smile and sit down, eating my pancakes while the two talk about god knows what

~20 minutes later~
"All done baby" Cole gives a kiss to the top of my head, I smile and jump up to the bathroom to see what he has done, he's parted my hair in a half up half down but with two ponytails instead of one

"School time" Lucas pops his head through the door and I nod, walking out and grabbing my bag on the way out

We walk into school, everyone staring, not only because cole is showing affection by holding my hand,  but the fact that there's another one of him right in the opposite side of me.

"Your with Lucas first period, be good" Cole leans down and kisses my forehead, I nod and give him a quick goodbye as he walks back the other way, I look up at Lucas who is smiling at me
"Ready for art?" He says and I nod, art is amazing to do, especially when you're a little ;)

We walked into class, Lucas guiding me to the back of the room as the rest of the students flocked behind us, he pulled me down to set next to him and the teacher walked in, she smiled at the class and began explaining how we will be painting beauty, she wanted us to think of something, I sat there questioning on what I would paint as everyone began to move around to grab paint and supplies

I hadn't even noticed that Lucas was gone until he came back with materials for the both of us, I smiled and layed my page down infront of me

"What are you going to paint?" He asked
"I'm not so sure yet, what are you gonna paint?" I asked back and he smiled
"Well I was going to attempt you but I feel I would mess it up to the point it would just be an insult" I laughed and he shrugged

"I'm going to paint a river" he said and began so
I nodded and continued to think, looking out the window across the room I stared at a tree, it wasn't beautiful or anywhere close but it had a big flower sticking out from the side, I assume someone has placed it in there

"I'm going to paint that" I point outside to the flower
"A tree?" He asks
"No no the flower, someone stuck it there I'm guessing and it's pretty"
"Okay baby you paint a pretty flower" he smiles and continues his work while I start mine

The bell soon rings and we stand up, my next class is with Cole and he is already outside the door waiting for me, I smile as he takes my hand and Lucas kisses my forehead as a goodbye

Did I fully understand how my life had been flipped around so fast in the past couple days? No
Was I complaining?
Absolutely not
