Who chopped the damn onions? This story is similar to yours in mayhem, but no letters are involved. The book is bloody confusing and has an amount of plot twists, but I got to say the book made me emotional.
There are some dark stuff, you can simply just skip that part or if you're uncomfortable with that then may as well look at the other recommendations that doesn't have dark content.
