So I'm going to do this as if it is in school in Ireland cause I'm Irish and I have no idea how The British school system works XD
~6 year old~
"Robbie come back it's not fair" I tell out as I run after Robbie in the school yard.
"If you want me come and get me" he laughs out as he runs away from me , twisting and turning hoping to lose me but I keep on his tail.
I'm losing my breath fast and I'm starting to slow down seeing Robbie run away from me laughing all the way.
I huff out and walk towards one of the small trees and slide down once I'm sitting I cross my legs over and rest my head on my hands and stick out my bottom lip , pouting because Robbie always does this and it wasn't fair.
If Robbie was ever on in chase he would trick me and catch me and would tease me about how silly I am to believe him.
A tear trickles down my cheek and I huff out again.
"Y/N ? What's wrong ?" An innocent Robbie comes walking up to me.
I turn around so I'm facing the tree and I ignore Robbie.
"Y/N please talk to me I'm sorry" Robbie pleads with me but I still ignore him.
"Y/N I don't like it when you don't talk to me please say something" Robbie voice starts to tremble.
I shake my head and look down at me feet and start to pick at the grass , taking out my anger on it.
"Y/N Y/N please your scaring me" Robbie says not being able to control his voice , it breaks a bit at the end.
I turn around to face Robbie and see tears rolling down his face. I feel upset that I've made him cry and I stand up and hug him. He instantly wraps his arms around my waist and hugs back.
"I'm sorry Y/N" Robbie says.
"I'm sorry too" I say back.
As if an instance we are both laughing again and messing.
"I'm still faster than you Robbie" I stick out my tongue at him and tap him on his arm.
"Caught!" I yell and run away.
~10 years old~
"Girls versus boys!" I yell out.
"Fine , we'll be on and ye have 30 seconds to run away and try and hide but we will catch ye"Robbie says back and all the boys pat his back in agreement.
"Ha! As if we are smarter and quicker than ye guys ever will be so good luck with that" I laugh out and all the girls cheer.
"Right start running ye don't have a long time 'robbers' so good luck cause your going to need it" Robbie says.
"Back at you 'cop'" I say and put air quotations around cop and laugh then start running away quickly.
" 3 , 2 , 1!" I hear the boys yell and I hear the pounding of their feet.
This was a normal thing to do at lunch was to play cops and robbers and it was always girls virus's boys I knew this yard inside out and I have all my hiding places and I know where to run to get my self out of trouble. I am well hidden if I say my self , up a tree where the boys can't catch me and certainly don't know.
I am covered by the leaves but I can just see everything that is happening , already most of the girls are caught but some are still running. I catch a glimpse of Robbie running after one girl and catches her easily and looks around confused.
I know he's trying to find me but he's not going to.
All of the boys are spread out amount the yard most of them are all behind me looking through the bushes trying to find me maybe another 5 are looking into the basketball courts and the rest are walking aimlessly around looking out for me.
