Mi and csk's match was first. Everyone specially indian players from both the teams were happy that they would see each other after such a long time. Rohit was on top of the moon as he would meet mahi bhai after such a long time.
Jassi was also very happy and he and ro couldn't contain their happiness but there was one person who didn't even smile a little.
He wished that they wouldn't have to play against csk or he wouldn't go to the stadium for any reason.
He sighed as he looked at the time and sat up on the bed.
'maybe i can pretend to be ill and tell ro i can't come to the stadium' he thought.
Just then the door opened and the captain entered. "Harry what are you doing? Common today is our match" ro told harry happily.
"Ro my stomach is hurting and i am feeling ill plus i have got back pain i don't think i can play today, so i will stay in the hotel only."
Ro knew he was lying and he knew the reason too but then also checked his forehead. "You are fine." He said.
"No i am not ro" harry insisted.
"Common harry i know why you don't want to come but you will have to, you are important for the team and if you come you can talk to him face to face and everything would be alright?"
"I don't want to talk to anyone ro, i am really injured, believe me."
"Okay i will believe you but then i will also have to believe you in our second match against Chennai and then if we see each other in playoffs and then maybe even finals then also you will not come right? Because team doesn't matter but not talking to someone for a weird reason does." Ro said trying to show him how wrong it sounded.
He needed to talk with mahi bhai today or some other day, he was dragging it for far too long.
"No, team matters to me" harry said quickly.
"Then get ready we are leaving in half an hour. Don't get late or we will go away without you. If team really matters to you than some personal fight, then please come quickly." With this rohit went away and Harry sighed.
He knew he had to go. 'Dosent matter' he thought. "I will just ignore him, it will be difficult but i will not talk to him no matter what.' thinking this he got up and went to get ready and then to have breakfast.
Csk's bus soon reached the ground and mahi got down and then looked here and there. He couldn't see mi's bus.
How much time more he thought.
He was desperate to see harry, who hadn't talked to him since one month and three days to be exact. This was the fourth day but mahi had promised himself that he would convince harry to forgive him anyhow.
Since 15th august mahi had tried to call harry so many times but harry didn't pick up.
He had called sonu and congratulated him on a successful career but when mahi tried to talk to him, he quickly cut the call. Harry had just put a post on social media but didn't even personally message him or call him once.
And to make matters worse, ro had called and said that it had been really difficult to console harry for first few days. And even after ro, jassi and krunal's insistence, harry still didn't call mahi and nor did he reply to any of his message.
'Why didn't i just tell him' mahi thought to himself 'i should have known he would be even more stubborn than ro and vi. At least it was easy to make them understand than harry.
Vi and ro both had started to talk to him within two days but for harry one month has passed.
Mahi went to csk's dressing room dejected that still mi's bus hadn't come. But he knew he had to be patient.
After fifteen minutes finally the mi bus also arrived. Mahi stood outside eager to meet not only harry but ro and jassi also.
As he was waiting he saw ro, jassi and Harry coming together.
He went to them.
"Bhai" ro said seeing him and hugging him. Jassi also came to hug him. Harry was rooted on his spot, a sudden desire to go and talk to him and hug him, stopped him from running to the dressing room.
"Harry" mahi said after ro and jassi had parted "how are you?"
"I am good" harry said and then added looking at ro and jassi "i am going, have to get ready for practice" and managed to run away to the dressing room.
