A Creepy Basement Thing

Chica was quietly walking around the lower floors of the PizzaPlex headed to the kitchen, she was thinking about all the pizza stuff that was left in the trash for her to eat. She paused when she saw something move through the hall just in front of her, she hurried over and looked to see it was someone she wasn't expecting to see at all. Sun was standing at the end of the hall with a bag from the daycare, Chica wasn't expecting it because Sun has been refusing to even leave his room for the past two days, she decided to ask him what he was doing in the basement.

"Sun?" Chica asked.

Sun quickly turned and looked at her.

"Yeah?" He asked.

"What are you doing down here?" Chica asked, "Isn't it... too scary or something?"

"Oh, it's terrifying down here." Sun replied, "But I wanted to see Peepaw!"

Chica was silent as she stared at him, "Peepaw?" She asked.

"Yeah! You wanna meet him?!" Sun asked, "I'm sure he'd love it!"

"Uh..." Chica had no idea what he was talking about, "Sure." She agreed.

"Okay!" Sun agreed, "Follow me!"

He began leading her through the strange maze of tunnels in the basement, then they reached a strange room with a tv in it, Chica got a little freaked out when she saw what looked to be a decaying animatronic sitting on a chair in front of the tv, whatever that decaying thing was it was horrifying.

"Hello~" Sun sang slightly as he waved, "I brought something for you!"

Chica felt a shockwave of horror shoot down her spine when the decaying thing turned toward them slightly, it... kind of looked like Bonnie.

"Look~ Look~ I brought you some pizza pockets!" Sun pulled a take-out box from the daycare bag, "And I brought ribbons!"

Chica listened to this decaying thing sigh as it leaned its head back.

"I would've brought more, but I didn't have the patience." Sun continued, "So Moon's getting it!" His eyes lit up, "I brought Chica today, too! Look! Look at her~"

The thing turned to them.

"Why...?" The decaying thing spoke.

"Aw! Come on, Peepaw! Don't you get bored watching tv all day?!" Sun asked, "Let's play a game! We'll play charades since you can't stand up or anything, but yay!"

"Yay?" Moon asked from the doorway, "Oh, hey Chica."

Chica quickly grabbed Moon's arm and took him out of the room.

"What the heck is that thing?!" Chica tried to be quiet.

"Peepaw?" Moon asked, "No clue, all I know is that Sun found him, like... two days ago? I think? Probably."

"Peepaw?" Chica asked.

"That's what Sun started calling him." Moon said, "He's kind of hard to understand, but Sun's really good at decoding gibberish from children, so... yeah, we can understand him pretty well." Moon looked down at the daycare bag he had, "I guess we're programmed or something to refer to our elders as Peepaw since that was the first word that came to mind after seeing him."

"But what is he?!" Chica asked.

Moon shrugged, then began going into the room again.

"Hey, Peepaw." Moon greeted, "I brought you Monty Fizzy Faz." Moon reached into the bag, "It's lime flavored, so it's as sour as you are."

Sun began laughing obnoxiously as Moon began going over Peepaw.

"What's that look for? You're sour." Moon said, "You asked what Fizzy Faz was, so I brought the one that was the most like you."

Moon set the can down on a small table next to the chair, then Moon turned to the door.

"Hey, Officer Vanessa." Moon greeted.

"Do you wanna help us make Peepaw pretty with ribbons and bows?!" Sun turned to the door quickly.

Chica looked to see Vanessa standing in the doorway with something under her arm.

"No, I think I'll pass." Vanessa said, "I, uh... need to go anyways."

"Vanny!" Peepaw shouted from the chair.

"Who are you talking about?" Moon asked, "I think your rotting old-man brain is finally failing you."

Sun continued to laugh as Moon started pulling more cans of Fizzy Faz out of his bag and setting them on the table.

"You better enjoy this stuff." Moon said, "There was only one machine that had some in the whole place, it took forever to find some."

"Yeah! I know Moon can get around real good! That's why I sent him! I know he could find it uper-superstar fast!" Sun grabbed Moon's shoulders, "He's like a ninja!"

"So, are you going to drink this stuff or do you need my help?" Moon asked.

Chica didn't understand a thing that came out of Peepaw, it sounded like he was gargling on a bunch of gears and marbles.

"Alright, hold still then." Moon grabbed a can.

"Don't drown him." Sun shook Moon's shoulders.

"You're going to make this can explode if you keep that up." Moon said, "That'll make a mess."

Sun began laughing as he let Moon go.

"Let's see if it explodes." Moon grabbed the pull tab.

Moon opened the can quickly and Fizzy Faz sprayed all over Peepaw, Sun began laughing harder as he turned away.

"Oops, oh well." Moon shrugged, "Open wide, here comes the pizza." Moon moved the can toward Peepaw.

Peepaw began subtly trying to move away, Chica began to leave in a hurry, she wanted to bring this thing up with Freddy since he's in charge now.

Freddy followed Chica downstairs in confusion, he had no idea what Chica was freaking out about but all he knew was that it had something to do with Sun and Moon.

"Alright, where are we going?" Freddy asked.

"Over here." Chica led him.

They went into the room to see Moon wrapping a ribbon around one of Peepaw's rabbit ears while Sun was basically tying his knees together with another ribbon, he already had a few bows on him.

"Um..." Freddy started.

"Oh, hey Freddy." Moon greeted.

"We're making Peepaw into a present for Vanessa!" Sun threw his hands up, "We know she loves surprises!"

Freddy stared in disbelief at Peepaw, that's when it seemed Peepaw noticed him in the doorway, he extended his hand slightly.

"Mi...cheal..." A raspy and gravelly voice called out.

"Micheal?" Moon asked.

"Who's Micheal?" Sun asked.

"I... don't know." Freddy replied.

"Oh, the Fizzy Faz scrambled his brains." Moon said, "We're going to have to fix that." He looked at Sun.

"We get to play surgery again?!" Sun asked in excitement.

Chica realized that Freddy was leaving, and she quickly went over to him.

"Freddy?" She asked.

"Ah, yeah?" He asked.

"Aren't you going to do anything about that?!" She pointed toward the door to Peepaw.

"I... need time to think." Freddy replied, "For now we'll just let the brothers bother him."

Chica seemed a little unsure, "If you think so." She agreed anyway, "You're in charge."

Freddy began walking away again, he couldn't believe it.

William managed to find him again.
