The captain was not a good cook.

That was not to say he couldn't cook, but rather it just meant he wasn't an amazing one.

He had learned the basics and was planning to learn more if he had the time, but recently there was absolutely no time for him to do almost anything.

So, instead of cooking food for himself or better learning how to cook more appetizing food, he decided to munch on the [un]healthy delight that was potato chips.

And sure, it wasn't as good as making food for himself, but it would be enough for him to get through the day.

Plus, it's not like he was eating the same type of potato chips everyday; sometimes he'd switch it up.

Barbecue flavored potato chips, jalapeño flavored potato chips, ranch flavored potato chips, and most certainly not just plain, base flavored potato chips.

But even if they were enough for him to live, that didn't necessarily mean he enjoyed eating them everyday.

On some days he wanted to mix it up and desired to eat something more interesting, to eat something more special, to eat something more luxurious, and to eat something that could actually keep himself from feeling like the worst human on earth.

But alas, options and opportunities are but limited things that die as fast as the next star above, tracing their way into our consciousness only to die just as we realize that they exist.

And though he certainly believed he had some opportunities to try something new, they were always clogged up by the fact that he always had more work to do.

However, even if he couldn't eat anything new, at least he had Sentience by his side recently whenever he worked.

Because she certainly made things much more bearable.

Speaking of Sentience...

"Hey, when are you going to finish working?" Sentience asked as she laid her head down on her arms which were on the table, gazing at (Y/N) as he scribbled vigorously on various documents: labeling them according to what they were based on.

"Hmm... Maybe in 20 minutes, still got a couple reports to finish which were levied out by Anti-Entropy." (Y/N) said with a-bit of malice in his voice, clearly still displeased about the fact he had to do Anti-Entropy' work now.
