Chapter 17- Goodbye

'Butt whyyy?', I asked maybe for the hundredth time today
'Because I have some urgent work sweetheart and we came here only to meet you', Nonna smiled
'Fine', I sighed taking a seat on the bed and she packs her bag.
'I am gonna miss you', I said
'Aww sweetheart I am gonna miss you too', she said
'When will you come back?', I asked
'Soon', she smiled as Nonno came in to take the bags
'Baby Jacy is looking for you', Nonno said as I nodded and walked out of the room

'Here you are troll. Come with me', Kevin picked me up going to the back garden.
'Nonno said Jacy is looking for me', I mumbled
'I know we are going to Jason', Kevin said as I hummed and closed me eyes with my head on his shoulder.
I was almost asleep when I felt going from Kevin's arms to someone else but, as the usual scent hit me I realised its Jacy.
'How could you she fall asleep in a two second walk?', Kevin spoke
'Issa talent', I mumbled snuggling close to Jason
'Don't you wanna drop Nonno and Nonna to the airport?', Jacy whispered in my air as I nodded
'Okay but for that you need to get up', he said sitting me down on his lap and I grudgingly opened my eyes.
'Good girl I bought your favorite chocolate and oats bar for you', Kevin said handing me the bar as I quickly took a bite.
'I'll strap her in the car, you get her bag', Stephy pulled me in his arms as we walked towards the car.
'Hello Mr. Givoni', I smiled as he opened the door for me
'Hello Arya', he nodded
'Can I have your glasses', I asked he nodded giving them to me
'Thanks', I nodded putting them on me
'How do I look Stephy?', I asked
'Real good. I'll get you your own pair baby', he smiled as I nodded struggling to keep the glasses on my face.

'Bye Nonno...bye Nonna' I waved them as they waved back
'I'll miss them Stephy', I sighed
'They'll come back soon to meet you baby', he said as we walked out of the airport to the cars.

On the way home I munched on some snacks but, soon I took my eyes felt heavy and I closed them.

'Did you put her in bed?', Kevin asked as I nodded
'What do you want to talk about?', Jason asked taking a seat beside Stephen
'Few months back I put out few of my men to search for Judy Rickman. After few calls they were able to get to him but, he was badly beaten and almost on the verge of death', Stephen explained
'Where is he?', Kevin asked
'Suburb safe house', he answered
'How is he now?', Jason asked
'Much better but, my concern is not him. Before he fell unconscious be told me to keep Arya safe because Russian knows about her', he said
'And you are telling this now. For fuck sake Stephen', Jason yelled
'Calm down Arya is sleeping', Fred said
'I am sure you have a plan?', Kevin asked
'I do as you have noticed I have increased the security and everything is secured. We are also keeping an eye on Russians', Stephen said
'I lead the technical team', Kevin said
'I'll take care on snooping', Fred nodded
'I'll take care for security', Stephen said
'No I'll do that', Jason said
'Jason Arya need you. If you start getting absent she' question it. That kid is way too smart for herself', Fred explained
'He is right. You stay with her. She won't even notice us', Stephen said as Jason nodded
'By the way I was thinking to take Arya with us to meet him', Stephen
'Humm', Jason nodded before standing up walking upstairs

'Can I some chips?', Arya asked sipping her juice
'Sure baby', Jason smiled giving her few chips to much on
'Where is Freddy?', she asked
'He had gone to meet his friends', Jason said as she nodded
'Jacy when am I going back to school?', she asked
'From tomorrow baby', Jason said as she smiled and nodded
'But, for now let's go and play in the swing', Jason said pulling Arya in his arms before walking to the back garden

'Jason can I ask you something?', Arya asked
'Yes baby', he said pushing her on the swing
'Who is God?', she said
'God?', Jason asked confused
'Humm', she hummed
'God is a power that takes care of this world', Jason tried explaining to the best of his ability. He himself was an atheist which doesn't help much
'Where does God lives?', she asked
'Everywhere', Jason smiled
'Humm', she hummed
Jason could see that Arya was not satisfied with his answer. He could literally see the gears turning in her head

'Dora, Hello Kitty, Mickey Mouse, Money Mouse?', Fred asked looking at the almost 100 bottles of shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom
'Dora the explorer', Arya said as he nodded squeezing a little on his palm before lathering it in her hair.
'Careful Freddy', Arya said as she focused on the rubber duck
'Yes ma'am', he chuckled before he washed the lather off and wrapped her in a towel.
'I'll get it from here', Jason smiled taking her in his arms
'Thanks', he nodded
'How was your bath baby?', Jason asked putting Arya down on the bed and getting out her night dress
'Good...but, Freddy is a rookie', she sighed
'Where did you learn that word from?', Jason laughed
'I heard Nonno saying but, Stephy told me the meaning so I could use it', she shrugged
'Offcourse', he smiled as he dressed her up for the night
After everything is settled Jason tucked Arya and picked out a storybook
'Jacy?', she spoke
'Yes', he answered
'I have school tomorrow', she said
'You do. Are you excited?', he asked as she smiled and nodded
'Good', he smiled
'Once upon a time there lived a small mouse in a hole of the wall of Mrs. Griffin's house.....', Jason started reading the story but, even before reaching the middle part he heard soft snores.
Looking at the small face of his little sister his heart filled with warmth. He cannot believe this little girl will turn six in a matter of week and will also graduate to grade 1. His little girl is growing too fast if only he could stop time and keep his girl little for forever.
