Crystal opened her homes front door and kicked off her shoes as she stepped foot through the threshold and closed the door. "Ugh." She quietly scoffed at the smell of liquor. Crystals walked into the living room to see her father passed out drunk on the couch. She made no sound as she went around and collected the many bottles of beer and whisky surrounding the small area around the couch. Crystal didn't want to risk waking the man up for she didn't want to face his drunken anger again.

Carrying the bottles to the recycling bin in the back kitchen, Crystal placed them in as delicately as she could. Her effort went to waste though when two of the bottles clinked together making a high pitched noise. "Fuck." Crystal winced, fearing that she had accidentally awoke her father. Waiting for what felt like forever, the teen finally moved when she heard no other sound but the loud snores emitting from her fathers mouth.

After placing the rest of the bottles on the recycling, Crystal quickly tiptoed past the living room and up the stairs to her bedroom. She opened the door and closed it with a soft click once she was in. "Fuck my life." Crystal sighed and threw her book-bag into her desk chair and laid down on her bed.

Just as Crystal was about to doze off her phone dinged with a text notification. Crystal groaned, reaching into her pants pocket and taking out her phone. "Who could it possibly-" She cuts herself off with realization. 'Why is Drew texting me?'

D - Hey loser

There's gonna be a fight tn

Wanna join?

Crystal didn't know why Drew was even asking her.

C - Is that even a question?

I'm gonna break their heads in

She was already hype for the night even though it was hours away.

D - That's my girl

Since she didn't have anything to do the rest of the day, Crystal decided to pack her gym bag and head over to the 'abandoned' building. She quickly got her things together and booked it out of the house. She didn't like to spend more time there than she needed to. Crystal grabbed her skateboard and headed over to the underground ring.

After ten minutes, Crystal made it to the old brick building. Picking up her skateboard she wandered in and heard cheering coming from a level above. Crystal grew giddy and skipped her way to the makeshift locker room to the right. She threw her bag to the ground along with her skateboard and started to take off her shirt.

"CRYSTAL!"

Crystal jumped, frightened. She turned around with a hand over her heart. "Drew! You almost gave me a heart attack!"

Drew laughed and leaned away a little from his position in front of Crystal. "You're so easy to scare." He joked and started poking Crystal in her stomachs.

"Stop it!" Crystal gigged at the onslaught of fingers tickling her. "H-hey!" Having enough of the tickling, Crystal grabbed Drew's arm, turned around, and flipped the man over her shoulder.

"Ugh." Drew groaned from where he was laying on the ground.

Crystal grinned triumphantly and continued with getting changed. "This was your fault. You know how much I hate being tickled." She turned to Drew and nudged his side with her foot. "Now get up. I'm going out."

"Nah." Drew closed his eyes and relaxed his body. He threw his arms behind his head and kicked his feet up on a nearby bench. "I think I'm good down here."

"Fine by me." Crystal shrugged and walked out of the locker room.

"Hey! I was just kidding!"

Crystal didn't turn around for her whiny friend and continued on her way. She went up the stairs and stopped to stare at the crowd that surrounded the open area in the middle. Flipping her hood over her head, Crystal made her way into the cheering crowd.
