Written with a certain aggressive tone
Would change how I feel.
If only it was that simple,
But unfortunately it isn't.
You didn't see the way they glared at me,
The moments left unseen,
The tainted memories plastered around my mind.
You didn't see all the evidence,
So don't present me with your case,
You don't know all the facts,
You haven't even bothered to enquire.
So no,
I can't "Just get over it".
Because it takes time.
Healing takes time,
Grieving takes time,
And frankly I am not rushing the process.
Just because you rather hastily said,
Get over it.
