The three turned to see Hana by the door, her eyes glossy. Her eyes remained fixated on the girl she had maybe grown to call a friend.
That was until she leaped forward, engulfing her in a hug. "I've missed you, where have you been?"
With a light shove, Hana backed away from the girl. "Don't."
"Hana-" Changmin started, his friend watching on intently.
As hurtful as this was for Hana, Sunwoo needed this. This is what he hoped for.
"Wait," Taeyang started, looking between the two. "This is your Hana?"
The girl let out a scoff, shaking her head. "How could you do that to someone?"
"Wait-"
"Go off with someone else's boyfriend behind the poor girls back?" She continued. "How stupid of me to think you were better than that."
Taeyang shook her head, and Hana noticed that tears began to fall from her eyes too.
"Hana," Changmin started, before glancing over at the other girl. "Taeyang, I can explain."
Sunwoo's head lifted up, watching what was going on before him. As soon as his friend said those words, he looked straight to Hana. Could she have been telling the truth?
"There's nothing to explain," Taeyang snapped. "You told me-"
"I never told you anything, okay?" The boy retaliated, his voice was the loudest that any of them had heard before.
Hana's eyes began to soften a little as she realised that she wasn't the only one who had been manipulated. "What did he tell you?"
Taeyang gulped, turning around with genuine, sad eyes. "He told me his ex wanted to get back together after cheating on him multiple times. He told me that she would harass him constantly. He had said her name was Hana, but I never once imagined it would have been you."
Hana nodded slowly, looking over at Sunwoo. "That's what you meant all along?"
The boy stayed silent, guilt washing over his body when the girl he had grown to despise even more was looking at him that way.
"You let him do that to me," Hana continued, pointing at Sunwoo. She glanced over to see Taeyang silently crying to herself. "To us?"
With that, the upset girl offered her hand to Hana, which she weakly took.
"If you would let me explain-"
"What's going on, here?" A female voice at the doorway asked.
"Nothing, Sunhee," Sunwoo said immediately.
The girl looked at Taeyang, shaking her head. "My best friend is standing there crying, it isn't over nothing."
With that, Hana gently let go of the girls hand and scoffed at Sunwoo, before drawing her eyes back to Changmin.
"You're the worst person I've ever met," she said to her ex, her eyes landing back upon the boy she had much more history with. "And you just keep on proving yourself, Kim Sunwoo."
